One of my favourites ( though lesser known ) is "Hey Bulldog." Can't criticize you for not knowing the Beatles, you are young. I've been listening to music for over 70 years,so I've heard a lot.

Hatsune Miku is a singer who is programmed through a keyboard. They added the 3d hologram to visualize her character. Royalties probably go to the writer. Hatsune Miku's most popular song is probably "Senbonzakura"which was covered by many artists including Wagakki Band

If you want to check out a little Beatle's side-history, there was a band called 'Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band', that was buddies with the Beatles, and were a novelty parody band in the 60s, They were in the Beatle's movie 'Magical Mystery Tour'. A parody of Elvis that they did in the movie, called 'Death Cab for Cutie' is a good one to check out. The band set the stage for Monty Python, and later on another parody band called the Rutles, mimicking the Beatles.

Longtime GW2 player, I absolutely love music throughout the world! I feel like music in games can be really distracting. However, in GW2 I find it adds to the world and the atmosphere in a way that invigorates my spirit. There's a magic to integrating music into a game world in a harmonious way and I feel like they've done this so well. Each expansion has a great soundtrack. One of my favorite songs is Tarir, The Forgotten City from Heart of Thorns. Sidenote, I believe all of the music is recorded from a live orchestra. And while owned by a Korean parent company GW2 is based out of Seattle WA ^__^

Great reaction, and congrats on doing this! I love watching new generations discover the greatest band of all time. The Beatles 10 albums or so are the blueprint for modern music, and that is not an exaggeratoin. I think to get a musical understanding, you need to listen to the albums and observe the dramatic evolution of their style and sophistication. It is a miracle what took place in that one band in just 8 years. No song is bad, not a single one. These albums are going to be studied for centuries, I have absolutely no doubt.

When I was learning music (I know, I know, ancient times lol), I was told that it's floutist, not flutist, but perhaps terminology has changed, but I digress. These lyrics are actually pretty deep. "Wearing a face that she keeps in a jar by the door" is talking about how we have our public and private faces where we put on our public face and don't actually let people in on what we are REALLY thinking and feeling. Father Mckenzie writing the words of a sermon that Noone will hear. Sure people attend and at least appear to be listening to you, but are they really HEARING you? Do they actually care about what you are saying? Go back through, read the lyrics as they sing and try to comprehend the DEPTH of each statement about the lives of these lonely people (Trivia: Eleanor Rigby is a name John found on a headstone in cemetery adjoining the church his parents took him to in Liverpool. The song Penny Lane is named after a real street in Liverpool)

What's kind of crazy is that Kanami said wrote this song to help people when they're feeling down or after they've had a hard day. I believe that was her intention behind the music. However, she doesn't communicate this with Saiki beforehand and Saiki comes up with the lyrics on her own, and came up with a similar feel behind the music. I think Saiki imagined a bit of longing to see a friend they hadn't seen in a long time. I think the slightly melancholic feel to the song added to that. The first part right after the intro, with I think palm muted guitars, no bass, rhythmic kick drum and hi hat, and the hits of the dual high notes really drive that nostalgia feel.

I love this song. I hope this gets to NO GOD levels of hype in their servings. This song has one of the grooviest choruses they've done, with Akane laying down 4 on the floor with the disco hi hats. Such a great song.

Don’t deprive yourself. Listening to the Beatles can be life changing. I’m not saying anything is God like changing but as you know music is food for your soul and nobody has written better music. Many people are in music because of the Beatles. I’m one of them.

I've been a Beatles fan since the very start. I'm 71 so I was in elementary school when they started. Yes, you sure are missing a lot. I always feel bad for you young people, because being my age I lived through music from the 50s forward, and I can tell my opinion is that the greatest period for music was the 50s through the 80s. There was great music before then but for me that is the time period and IMO it surely started to decline during the 80s. As for the Beatles, I can't hardly tell you what songs are their best because they had so many good ones. I'll let others suggest some because my list would be too long and I would still feel that I had left too many off.

The Beatles appeared on Ed Sullivan 3 weeks before my 15th birthday. I was totally blown away. For the next five years of my life the Beatles eclipsed all the other bands and only in the late 60s did I begin to pay closer attention to the likes of BS&T, The Who, The Stones, The Zombies, The Birds, The Band, Aretha, The Temptations, Sam&Dave, Bob Dylan etc.

I'm pretty sure he has more than one flute, just in case... after all, he has been doing this for a really long time. Also, his are all probably made one piece since he doesn't really need to worry about portability.

I think the problem now is that Miku's voice is so inonic and recognisable that there's resistance to make her sound more realistic and human, even though the technology exists to do that. Miku herself is an absolutely gigantic brand as big if not bigger than any brand you can think of. Part of me wishes they would make her sound more human because it's sometimes offputting but I would worry if they did that she wouldn't be as memorable or recognisable. I mean I know they digitised a real person's voice to make her voice and that person themselves would have a unique voice but the whole point and draw of this is that she's a digital talent, to make her less digital takes away from her I think.
