A beautiful song sung by the beautiful voice of the wonderful Crystal Gail. I went to see her at the London Palladium about 20 years ago.

The Bible says Jesus chirst Died For your sins So u can escape hell and judgement Jesus christ is alive and he is alive And he will forgive you and heal Your life Jesus christ is coming back to judge the wicked Jesus said except you repent you will likewise perish In first John 3 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only ❤️ begotten son That who so ever believes in him should not perish But have ever lasting life The Bible says that who has the son of God has life And who ever reject the son will not see life But the wrath of God abides on Him

Being a 5 year old when this was released and having young parents , this song and many more like it were undoubtedly being heard and absorbed by me in the home , in the car, etc. . now I appreciate them so much more for their musicianship , craftsmanship, vocals and lyrics . Let’s say these songs have aged like fine wine and I love a great wine . Cheers! 🍷🍷

I am a Gen Xer..1976✌️… I know that this song was before I was born but when I was a little girl my Mom used to sing this song to me a lot at my bedtime and so whenever I hear it I am taken right back to my early childhood and the nostalgia gets me every time 🥰

No better string of melodies and vocals that come to memory to this day. What an incredible gift given to us all to enjoy time after time, it never gets old like we do. Thank you God for allowing this slice of divinity to enter our minds through the miracle of hearing.. What an incredible dynamic 👏

I got my start as a DJ in 7th grade in 1975. We put our PhyEd speakers on volleyball poles and hung Christmas lights to transform our Catholic Grade School into a Dance Club. We had one turntable and no mixer so there was a noticeable gap between songs. I played Sammy Johns’ Chevy Van and it was abruptly snatched off the turntable by our strict and stern Principal, Sister Rose. She told me to ‘Come to my office Monday’ I went in and she broke my 45 and tossed it into the wastebasket and called it ‘trash’ as it contained the lyric ‘We made love in my Chevy Van’ and it was as obscene. I started a Mobile DJ biz and spun that into a regular Club spot. The first song I played as a 7th grader was the extended version of Wildfire and fittingly enough when I hung up my headphones 35 years later my last song was Wildfire. I still get teary eyed when I hear that piano intro and then when the guitar kicks in I’m slow dancing once again in the basement of St. Thomas More school……
