Love seeing your journals x What woukd your advice be when you haven't kept up with your journalling but you journal in a pre printed diary. Leave the blanks or go back to them??

I'd love to start a junk journal, but I'm not sure where to start and I'm not artistic, so lettering and drawing are out of the question. I've been looking for inspiration. Thanks for sharing your journals.

Thank you for this video. I have so many journals and have always felt pressured to journal everyday. If I break my streak I feel let down. Helen: this video was so worthwhile. I tend to work in several glue books and three journals. I do other crafts, so I don’t want to get overwhelmed. Right now, I’m working in an altered book and gluing a lot. This book has to do with interior design, fashion (they are closely connected) and my favorite people in the industry. I seem to be doing two pages at a time. I usually get an idea and just go for it. Oh,- yes the muse steps in. Haha. I probably will finished it by year’s end, but there is no rush. It’s so enjoyable for me. Relaxing and creating at the end of the work day is perfect for me. Now, I also keep an everyday written journal. I’ve done so for years. That is very rewarding for me too. It’s always fun to go back and see what I did. Again, I think this was a great video. Thank you. Carol from California

Helen, this was so inspiring. I have several journals, each with its own personality. Too often I’ve felt bad that I haven’t gotten more done in any one of them because I’ve been busy with my other adventures. Seeing that several of yours are 'years in the making' somehow gives me a bit of permission to relax and enjoy the journey. Thanks

Dear Helen, what you say is really exactly how I feel about gratitude journaling. Thank you for expressing it so well. I started some years ago and found out that my mind really shifted. I'm now more able to focus and be aware of the good moments of my day all day long, even very small things, especially the small things (the great connection with/between my daughters, a smile of a stranger, birds, colors, the beauty of life around me...). It's also so true that I first began with small sentences to express my gratitude on my notebook, thinking I would remember the details. But I was wrong, this memories fade away. And the more I'm precise in my writing, the more joy it gives me in the moment I'm writing because I have to focus and deepen my thoughts, but reading it some years later brings back the memories more vividly. Thank you for your work and sharing your thoughts and advices. (And sorry for my unperfect and messy english)

You are amazing, I've been in a planner flop. I've been trying to budget and trying to cut out things. I've unfortunately cut out my Journaling supplies, I've been in a slump on Journaling. No motivation at all, I'm afraid to use up anything. I've gotten into 3d peyote stars, so I've been beading a lot. So my money I have for Journaling supplies goes into beads and the supplies for that. 🤣

Oh how lovely of them to send you some Caran d'Ache products. I love my Neocolor II and am looking forward to getting that lovely set that you have. I didn't know that Caran d'Ache did pens :) yay. Oh Helen that is so beautiful. I don't look at reels usually, they are too short and I don't find them helpful, but that is just me ;) lol. I just love that pencil set. Or are they simply pencil crayons?
