How I wish I had the skill and stationery to create such wonderful work

Helen: good to think about. Time does seem to be an issue. Every evening I do journal about my day. Additionally, that is usually when I collage too. Since I work during the day, that’s the best time for me. You do have to find your own rhythm. Carol from California

A very inspiring page you created Helen and listening to you was relaxing and helpful. I have lots of journaling tools and beautiful 'things' to use but ive been stuck! Maybe its time or knowing what i want to do. However i do write things down especially holiday journals but no painting or sketches etc. Id like to find my own style and I'm feeling more informed now. Thank you so much ❤xx

I’m so pleased you enjoyed the video and found it helpful Penny, thank you. I’m sure the more you do, the more your own style will develop. A little and often really helped me in the beginning ❤️

Your reply made so much sense to me! I’ve wanted to do this kind of journal for years but never could figure out my style…too much time wasting thinking about the perfect way to journal…I need to just jump in and try stuff and let my style evolve. embracing “messy” to get to where I want to be…good luck with your journaling

Thanks Helen, wise words about working out what's best for us, there's nothing more disappointing than looking at a beautiful journal that's been abandoned. I have an abandoned Archer & Olive I'm thinking of turning into a savings plan and tracker. Mostly short term savings. I'm really visual so it needs to be fairly simple, where I can see the savings grow. I'm wondering if this could be made decorative as well as functional? I love your travellers notebook diary, I would love to do this but am nervous about failing. I'm going to have a good think about what you've said and find a time I can make into a habit xxx
@HelenColebrookАй бұрын
Thank you so much Colleen. If you search bullet journal savings trackers on Pinterest some really lovely decorative options come up. I hope you find a journaling system that feels just right for you and that you look forward to writing in 🥰❤️

Hello Helen, I love your videos! They are so inspiring 😊 I saw the journal you showed from Travel compagnie brand and tried to look it up on the internet but did not recognize the one you showed (the one where you write the ‘5 lines a day’). Does it have a name or can you say where you’ve got it from? That would be really nice!

Do you journal as if no others eyes 👀 will ever see it, and if so, how would you insure this?😊
@HelenColebrookАй бұрын
I have some journals that I photograph and share on social media so I’m a bit careful with what I write in those. I also have a journal that I don’t share with anyone and is just a place for me to process my thoughts. I often shred or burn those when they’re finished. I hope that helps 🥰❤️
