When it's in Uldum you don't need to unlock anything, you never did. During BFA I was farming zone mounts and stuff without unlocking BFA content. You do need to unlock 8.3 when it's in the Vale.

After i uploaded this video Blizzard issued to hotfix to make all the Citrine gems available this week - sadly one of the encounters that awards the gems is extremely buggy. One 2 steps forwards, 1 step backwards, I guess!

They should have done legion remix for a while. Plunderstorm is only for those who enjoy pvp enough to do that, and generally it only goes well for those who group up against single players. I hated it before and I hate the fact they did not ditch the whole idea for something that allows for pve or pvp, players choice.

Shortly after this video went live Blizzard announced (as I predict in the video) massive buffs to the new ring Circe's Circlet. It now starts at ilvl 639 in week 1 and can be upgraded to ilvl 658 - this will likely make it BiS for most specs if not in week 1 then from week 2 onwards - and does make it a lot more interesting.

I'm relatively certain that Handy Notes also marks the location of the critters for the "To All the Slimes I Have Loved" achieve. My map was marked with red hearts at various locations w/notation when moused over as to which critter was there & I don't think that was from any mod other than HN. There's two sides to this. Yes Blizzard could get rid of depletes entirely. BUT, that wouldn't change the amount of leavers. It's the same logic of if you go into a raid, and the tank decides to leave on the last boss because he lost a trinket he wanted and telling Blizzard to just remove the possibility that you don't get what you want. It will still happen until they hold those people accountable. Just last night, we were making great pace to time a +6 Necrotic Wake. Healer decided to leave when we were on Stitchflesh with 16 minutes left in the run and it ruined the key for 4 other people because he just wanted to ruin the experience. Holding those kinds of people accountable and banning them are a good thing. If the run is going fine and the only thing that ruined it was 1 person deciding to leave, that 1 person deserves the ban for ruining the run and wasting 4 other people's time. They are not special enough to be more important than 4 other people in GROUP content just because they want to troll. The same people complaining about Blizzard finally doing something about this, are the same ones that either leave in the first 30 seconds, or decide to go into it as a healer or tank and leave right before the last boss constantly. The incentive for leaving is wasting 4 other people's time. As long as they can do that, people still WILL just to ruin another player's experience. This is not a new concept in the game and this is a step towards cracking down on those kinds of people

But how are they going to target the leavers that leave their game? Lets be honest, the sting of having a leaver doesn't have to be so harsh, Blizzard could just delete depletes. The sting of not timing a key doesn't have to carry such heavy currency reduction penalties, they could decrease them or reward a timed key, 25 crests, and the new crest baseline would be 15-20. People have been complaining about depletes since the dawn of man. It's time Blizzard listens.

They're targeting a symptom and not the cause once again. Remove the timers. How hard is it?!

Update for those that watch this in TWW and beyond. For mythic. There is a skip right to Jaina inside the instance. Assuming you Jaber beat the whole thing in mythic on any character. I just tested a fresh level 80 and was able to skip to the end. Talk to one of the characters to the right and tell her you are ready to go. Also they removed the ice Block so you can just stand in the ice and DPS her down. As for storm wind blockade I recommend doing it the opposite way. Left side the right. As the chick on the left has more health and you need to get back to the platform and interrupt ASAP. So left side. Right side. Interrupt. Kill.

Great video, nice to see such a variety of options in terms of suggestions for making the gold to get the tokens for the mount. As someone who only played before and after BFA, I am happy they made the an AH mount possible. p.s. Thanks for mentioning about the engineering mount and pilfering... I didn't know about that and was wondering why some older ores/stones had spiked in price outta nowhere. It is pretty wild when that happens.

one of my least fun season in m+. so much stress as a healer health bars bouncing up and down one missed global might cause instant wipe , gearing progress petty shit 90 crests for an item, mythic crests at 9 at the start than changed to 8. 20 itemlevel from heroic to mythic items is just nuts. stopped immediatly after i upgraded my items and never queued again lets hope blizz will add some changes to m+ in season 2

Mythic+ is horrible. Way too hard, way more difficult than previous expansions. Can hardly be called fun.

16:15 some of the classes actually do have "rewards" from Interrupts. Mage gets a cd reduction, paladin gets a free crusader strike, warrior gets a dmg amp, shaman gets a DR to the interupted spell school. Not really equal across the board but some do get benefits.

Having 3k io on all these dungeons from their relevant seasons in combination with a sprinkle of new mechanics and people learning for the first time just sucked out all my energy. Helping people learn these keys while the margin for error is so low is not fun. It’s no coincidence that Stonevault and Dawnbreaker are my favorite keys this season.

The majority of the toxicity is unskilled DPS players pushing too high too quickly, not researching dgs (you can literally watch a 5 minute video to learn all you need for a +10) then not using cc, not interrupting, not dealing with the easy new affixes, not doing mechanics, taking 50 Mil avoidable dmg in a dg, and doing less dmg than the tank. They make the key impossible then blame the tank/healer and go complain on the forums or reddit. The first one to scream toxicity are usually the toxic ones. Most players agree Peril is very bad on live, but watching the MDI it makes a lot of sense in this environment. It allows a risky vs safe playstyle where the safe group can beat the fast, risky one if the latter has a full wipe. It's terrible on live though, deaths are already punishing enough without it and it prohibits risk-taking. M+ is the hardest content in the game due to its infinitely scaling nature. It's not a loot pinata aimed at reward-driven players, it's the toughest endgame content in the game, aimed at mastery-driven players. A +7 is about heroic raid difficulty, a +10 first 4 mythic bosses difficulty, a +15 is harder than Mythic Queen Ansurek.

I will solve this 11 and a half minute long video with one quick comment :P ANSWER: It's not hard and it's not a grind. I now have 4 different full cosmetic reward sets + the Timewalking mount after maybe a combined ~7 hours of gameplay across 3 days. Just run the entire sequence of anniversary quests once on 3 different characters (doesn't matter the level as long as you're like >50) and then do a set of weekly quests with one of your level 80s. It took me longer to get a single setpiece for my level 80 than it did to get 4 of the Tier 2 cosmetic sets from the Anniversary event....plus the new Hippogryph. It's incredibly easy. First set is 60 tokens, second set is 40, third and fourth set are 20 each. It's very fast. Boom. Done. If I actually wanted the rest, it would maybe take me 3 more days of running the suite of quests (5 timewalking dungeons, BRD, etc).

After this video was released Blizzard have annouced a major increase in the amount of tokens from non holiday weekies in Khaz Algar: us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/bronze-celebration-token-changes-incoming-october-29/1996127 - My estimate (Probably not 100% accurate) is that from week 2 we can expect to get the following (per week) across both the event and Khaz Algar weeklies: Solo: 80 Group: 89 Group+Pvp: 142 This should make it possible to reach 100 tokens and unlock the extra token drops from the Token Collector Achievement in week 2 - even for fully solo players. It remains to be seen how generous that will be - but with the extra tokens from weeklies being heavily biased to wards the Khaz Algar weeklies - I feel that the anniversary event activities are going to feel optional. It should be possible for most folks to get all of the rewards without having to grind very hard. I know this invalidates the point of this video (thanks Blizzard!) but I've decided to leave it up for the sake of posterity.
