Booooring. The same four bar loop over, and over, and over for ten minutes. With all this technology, we need to do better. Non-musicians don't know any better; and musicians should.

5:44 it's these transitions on vinyl that show someone has a good understanding of rhythm and music the synth plays on the left track and the kick only on the right, there is no beat going on yet Joris can easily recognize the track desyncing just by the synth transients. Show me the modern day controller dudes pulling these off. Technology is great but it shouldn't replace fundamental learning. You can also see Joris always beatmatches in phrase, I see so many vinyl sets where people ignore phrasing alltogether and as someone who listens to electronic music for decades, I cannot understand how people don't learn these basics anymore.
