For anyone interested - it appears that the difference is that kolsch is playing using a CDJ so the digital to analog conversion is happening in the CDJ unit. Joris Voorn is using a soundcard so the digital to analog conversion happens there (not sure which soundcard, but it might be the Fireface 400 Soundcard based on a Google search). So it might be a case where the sound card joris is using is better in some way. Of course, one could be using higher quality files too, but I suspect both are using good quality files.

I'm just pointing out the difference although I do think it would be surprising if either was noticeably different (especially being played in the context of the environment) so the mastering of the tracks is a good point, but Joris Voorn doesn't play his own tracks a lot. It's also possible he just chooses to play better mastered tracks.
