Does the encounter builder allow you to also track initiative within the encounter?

Yes, if you "Run the Encounter" you can track initiative, die rolls, etc.

My only questions are; 1) Does this work for the free membership as well or only the paid subscriptions? 2) Do you know if d&d beyond has an accessability mode or night mode? Thanks for the video.

It should be available for free memberships. I haven't seen accessibility/night mode option, but I haven't really looked either. Thanks for watching!

So it's been a couple of years since you made this, how did the map hold up over time?
@m3verse8 ай бұрын
Pretty good. I did get some cracks from letting it sit and get flat, I wrapped it up around a carboard tube and it hasn't gotten worse. Also the edges like to keep the rolled shape, so I se tit out flat for an hour or so before play with some books on it. Thanks for watching!

Thanks lovely terrain.Could I use PVA glue to glue tyres together.
@m3verse11 ай бұрын
Absolutely. It will take longer to dry and I would put some glue in a paint tray and dip a bit of each tire one by one to help avoid having visible dried globs in the end product.
@paulbrown325111 ай бұрын
@@m3verse thanks I did put the glue in a tray and dipped the wheels. I just completed it and then rewatch your feed. Only to find you super glue. I was panicking if the PVA glue was going to or I had to take it all apart and start again.

Knowing that water trick is really helpful. I wonder what a layer of mod podge to seal the cardboard before painting would do to help the absorbency problem.

These look cool. I built the tyre barriers from your tutorial and they worked out great. Might try these. Only thing i was wondering was, how do you change the tea light batteries?
@m3verse2 жыл бұрын
Good question, I hadn't considered that yet. I'll likely cut the holes in the bottom large enough to get the battery covers off. They're glued in on the sides of lights so it shouldn't be a problem. Glad you're enjoying the crafts!

Fantastic build, that debris mix looks really good. I think you can use isopropyl alcohol to reduce the surface tension of the wash so the mod podge/water/paint mix can really get into all the nooks and crannies

Thank you! I usually put a drop of dish soap in there to break the tension, I forgot this time. I'll try the iso though, might be handier.

How do you add one of the unassigned characters (NPCs) as a “monster” in an encounter?
@m3verse2 жыл бұрын
I don't think it has that functionality, at least for encounter set up. It will have some NPCs from books you own on on beyond though, like Saltmarsh. Once you run the encounter though you will have access to the unassigned characters in the initiative tracker. For XP calculations they will count as good guys so you'll have to balance the encounter by hand. I hope that made sense.
