Do you think the RE Himi 450 is a good bike to travel 560 KM per day at speeds of 114 -130 KM per hour? Riding days are three consecutive travel days. USA Interstate. Of course with breaks for petro. Or do you think is it not comfortable enough for the rider? I know there are better "Cruiser" bikes for such a long trip, but I'm looking for one bike that does Interstate and then I can take on mountain dirt roads when I arrive at my destination.
@REDLiveMotorbike12 күн бұрын
Hi i rode 850 km in two days with a lot of mountain roads. And i' had no problem at all. So my answer is "yes" you can ride at 130 kph constant speed without any problem.

Lovely video, thank you! The highest road in Europe is the Pico Veleta on Spain, 3,398 meters. I did that with my Yamaha XS360 in 1978... Love the new Himi!

Great review. Thinking of changing my existing NC750 DCT for this bike in the new year and this has really helped. I will be adding the Voyager pack to mine when ordering. I love the DCT on my NC but do find the slow speed handling occasionally too on/off. I am hoping the re-mapping on the NT has improved this..

Nobody wants a richer package in the USA. Wish we could have the midlevel. There is already enough electronic wizardry to ruin the experience.

Terrific review - Thanks! I heard from several sources that Honda was bringing this bike to US. Went to dealer to leave deposit but it turns out only Police version coming to US. I don't get it. I do very relaxed touring through our Northwest on 55mph backroads - I think this bike would be ideal. I'd be OK with spending $30k on BMW 1300RT when released but there is only 1 BMW dealership in Idaho and they are terrible.

Does it look as though it's meant to be used offroad ? Jeez, just switch your brain on.
@tagan6190Ай бұрын
@@dragoclarke9497 On the one hand, your comment is accurate, however, you could have said it a little more delicately.
@danman58574 күн бұрын
It depends on what your definition of light off road is. Most bikes are capable (maybe a little sketchy) on gravel roads, back roads, or on groomed fire roads. Don't listen to women like dragoclarke9497 as they are unknowledgeable on real world riding situations.

HI BMW is a more sporty bike. More power and more dynamics. But if you want to travel with a motorbike Versys is unbeatable.
