Great review. I've been thinking of getting one of these bikes, so your review was very helpful to me.

Great thorough presentation of a beautiful Kawasaki. Well done. Thanks.

Nice Review. Is it comfortable for your height? Because I am 5'8" & thinking about it.

I still prefer the analog tachometer, no need for that on a lcd/tft. Love that Ninja 1000 engine-now even better. It has great low end grunt from 4000-7000 rpm, pulls nice up top too.

A bigger screen with gps intergrated and heated saddle would be nice since it is a touring motorcycle

Thanks for your very comprehensive assessment - I have one question, do you think a chip re-work would improve the performance at all? I know that in Europe this is not allowed but elsewhere it is still possible to gain performance and to allow the motorcycle to run cooler. I had this done to a z900rs I have which improved performance significantly but increased fuel consumption significantly - almost prohibitively. What are you thoughts on this?

just notice that the 1100 engine run cooler because has an heat exchanger

Chip tuning is legal in Europe(or at least in many countries)

Hello, I must admit that i liked you presentation, you get deeper and in more detail than a lot other presentations. The Skyhook has an anti dive mode??? The braking system is combined ( front with rear and vise versa??? The cornering ABS works well? Also what are the max travelling kilometres that Versys feels well, for two people with luggage ?? You mentioned 160Kl/h??? Have you seen the top end kilometres, speed?
@REDLiveMotorbike28 күн бұрын
Hi thank you first of all. some Answrs Skyhook ha the anti dive Braking system is not combined but is standard Cornering ABS wor very well I don't reach the top speed but the cruiser speed is above 160

I’ll be very keen to see this compares to the GX. Pity about the non-adjustable (while riding) screen. Such a pity on a touring bike like this. Hard to believe they would be so shortsighted on the flagship model.

I test rode a GX and was disappointed with the low end torque compared to my 2015 Versys 1000.

As a touring rider I can't live without adaptive cruise, just a pity Kawasaki didn't option this on the 1100 😕

Well the big question is, should we run to the dealer and exchange our current Versys 1000 SE with the 1100 version?
@bernardvanderhelm440728 күн бұрын
I love the Versys 1000 SE very much. I've driven from Triumph to BMW, but the Versys is the most comfy of them all.
@REDLiveMotorbike28 күн бұрын
my answer is: if your 1000 is very old you can change with the new one. But the changes are not so big to make you run to the dealer.

The knobs for adjusting the windshield really why couldn’t that be one lover that can adjust while you’re on the fly that’s not good it shouldn’t be sorry but I have a 2013 BMW 1200 RT kind of spoiled. I’d like to buy this bike the chain drive no electric windshield not good For me anyhow I don’t like chain maintenance. I got 70,000 miles on my BMW and never had trouble with the shaft drive at all.😢
