This square is adorable! I was thinking about crocheting a Christmas bucket hat with this pattern. I love making unique granny squares. Yours is really fun and different. I’m not on social media, but I appreciate the tutorial. 💜😎🇺🇸

I would consider my crochet skills to be intermediate/advanced beginner. I’ve been crocheting on and off for about 3 years now and I’m planning on using these granny squares to make fanny packs for my soon to be little sister in laws. In the last row of the square I somehow missed the change in the corner stitch for my first completed square, but it doesn’t change the shape or look at all so I continued to do so with my second completed square. Also on the last row for both of my now completed squares, for half of the sides I only had space for 9 dc, 4hdc, and then 6dc instead of 7dc. I have, no idea how. For my second square I made sure to re-count every stitch on the second to last round and they were all accurate. So maybe I just don’t know how to count 😂 either way, lovely tutorial and pattern, and even if I did fuck up my numbers I think it will still work wonderfully for what I intend to use them for.

Wait how were you able to make the chart smaller? Did you do it manually? Or, is there a way to shrink a pattern using stitch fiddle?
@n0thum4n7 күн бұрын
Stitch fiddle has an option where you can change how big the grid pattern is you hit the little “exact size” square and it will bring up both width and height and then you can go and edit the numbers of stitches
