Thank you Dr. Pandey for bringing this valuable information that will make us adopt healthy habits. As someone who has had diabetes for almost 25 years, I was particularly interested in Dr. Alice Cheng's speech. Understanding the 5S habits was very helpful. Also helpful were the steps to put type 2 diabetes in remission. I am however not sure whether Type 2 diabetes can be reversed or not. According to Dr. Cheng, since the pancreas does not change, the Type 2 diabetes cannot be reversed. However, there is literature indicating that through the process of autophagy, pancreatic beta cells have been shown to regenerate, leading to the reversal of diabetes. Autophagy generally starts after two to three days of fasting. Dr. Jason Fung has written extensively on the subject. Also the keto diet helps in controlling Type 2 diabetes. It would be wonderful if you could invite Dr. Jason Fung at the next Healthy Heart Day, after all he is based in Toronto. Finally, many thanks Dr. Pandey for your continuing care of patients like myself.

After statins, why are doctors still treating what appear to be symptoms but never prove to be such? Reduction of LDL has never been shown to reduce cardiac deaths. The answer to my question is "money". We all see the bus loads of money made by Big Pharma for drugs which do not solve the problem. Of course now they are trying to do the same thing with Alzheimer's and amyloid plaque: The classical shell game.

Now the threshold for LDL is 1.8 ? This information must be from big FARMA to sell more status.

Staying with seatbelt analogy the vaccine is like getting air bags in your car. You don't stop using your seatbelt (social distancing, washing hands and masks) just cause your vehicle now has air bags (the vaccine).
