Love this movie but my man Forest was better off without Jenny. She did him bogus throughout the entire movie and finally she’s about to die now she wants to marry him and finally introduce him to his son. Jenny was a horrible person to Forest mentally and because he was slow he didn’t realize it. He deserved someone way way better than Jenny.

Wow many of these jokes went over your heads .the movie is one big comedy . You two are taking it way to seriously. Its called slapstick comedy.

I realize you folks are very young, but when this movie came out just by the actors you would have known not to take it seriously, that it would be a great comedy. It's been a while since I've seen this but I caught something, again you may not have because of being young. The reference to giving a "laurel" and "hardy" handshake. Please check out the comedy team of Oliver Hardy and Stan Laurel. You can see Stan Laurel in Dick Van Dyke sometimes. BTW, I love y'all too!
