Yes, you just adjust the starting voltage depending on your specific need.

I don't believe so. However I did watch a video where someone was using it to charge a power station with a direct lithium battery. Ofcourse without the alternator it will eventually die, but an option

I would be curious to see how it is affecting your alternator. I see some of these devices drop the voltage down to under 13V when it's charging the powerstation. Hopefully they have these in stock. I use the Bluetti AC180 for my Land Cruiser 80.

I was monitoring the voltage and it was good as I had it connected and charging. The device also has built in fans, you will hear them every so often while charging..

Thanks for sharing, I have one coming today. Just out of curiosity...what setting did you use to adjust the volts to? I realize it will be different depending on your battery and alternator, but it seems most are setting theirs to the 13 volt mark. Looks like a beautiful camping spot. I love Starlink. My Gen3 is definitely too big for my taste just as you said. It’s so hard to pack. But the mini came out too late so I had to go with the Gen 3. I’m still stuck with that 50GB data limit though. I actually prefer the lower bandwidth if it means I have a smaller antenna, but I’ve been burned too many times on plans that charge by the GB that I just can’t go down that road again.

Really is a great service. Yeah, the Gen3 was a bit bulky for us as well. The lower bandwidth is fine with me as well, when I first purchased the Gen3 the $50 50G roam was not an option, only for the Mini. However sounds like they just changed it again. That's the only concern I have is the constant change in price. Hopefully the $50 options stays for a while.

I like the pecron because it will charge any unit regardless of brand, unlike the EcoFlow that is only made for EcoFlow. FYI, I bought a 48V 100 ah battery that I also use to charge my EcoFlow and Bluetti's as long as they you don't exceed the solar voltage input and charges at a faster rate than a 12 V battery. Great for cloudy days when solar does not produce anything or an outage.

I agree! Works beautifully! So you hook up the pecron charger to portable power station directly to the 100AH battery? I was wondering about that, I have a Conqueror UEV 440 trailer with two 100AH lithium batteries, I was considering connecting the Pecron so I can charge my Bluetti. What are your thoughts on that?

@@LOCKANDCRAWL You need the alternator to use the pecron charger to hook up to the battery. The pecron charger acts like a step up transformer to deliver 500 watts of power from the 12V battery and the alternator keeps charging the battery. Otherwise it will discharge your car battery.

What sold me on the Bluetti was the ability to optimize the voltage according to what unit you are charging - in my case a Bluetti AC180 to 56 volts... Can pecron 500w be adjusted to give 50-56v @ ~8.93 to 10amps?

Yeah but it was eco flow advertising that lead me to this product. 500 watts is more than the solar I have for a third of the price. Sheesh.

@@Ozem_Israel but the sunshine is free, using a DC charger requires an engine to be running, perhaps even driving to get a better charge, and allow airflow past the engine for cooling components.

A/C and offgrid camping generally don't mix well because of the power requirements so I did the same with my 440. I kept the shelf and fit two large storage bins on top and a Propex gas heater below it. Reused the outlet for heat and installed a thermostat right below the small storage cubby opposite the positive pressure system. This way I can change it while still in the upper bed. Heat is much more important than A/C. You can easily install two Scirocco fans to the provided mounting points and wiring if you need more air flow on a warm day.

What a fantastic idea! Yes I agree, this unit was taking up too much space with an already compact set up. I'm happy with the way this turned out and I agree heat is much more important then AC, nice to have this zero breeze just incase. They just came out with a new model which provides both AC and heat. Comes at a cost but a cool option.

Great ghost town actually haunted the church in the building of to the left of coming into the town. It has the winding staircase. She visit there in a winter time when it’s really busy.

Hi there, I have one of these for my Sube, It's a Really simple hook-up, and it works as advertised. Charges an EcoFlow Delta 2 nicely. About 2 months before this launched, I wired a Ren*** 40 amp Dc<>DC charger in the Danger Ranger. For the money and ease of installation, it's Pecron all day long.

You're absolutely right! The problem was not the 9000 BTU AC unit and it's capability, the issue was the design of my trailer and how the one vent faces towards the back and the fact that the trailer is not insulated. As well as having to use our gas powered generator in order to use it, which would ruin the outdoor experience while sleeping at night and all the space it took up from my already tight space. Appreciate your feedback though. Thank you

We rarely used the AC, but when we did it would not cool the trailer down. The fact that the trailer is not insulated and only has one vent which faces the back of the trailer, this design didn't work very well for us. We also needed to use our gas powered generator in order to use the AC which also ruined the outdoor experience at night while sleeping. Appreciate your feedback though. :)
