Things have changed... again. I just ordered a Gen3 with the $50 mini roam package.

Yeah figured that would happen. Looks like they're struggling trying to price it right. Glad it's an option now.

I love Starlink. My Gen3 is definitely too big for my taste just as you said. It’s so hard to pack. But the mini came out too late so I had to go with the Gen 3. I’m still stuck with that 50GB data limit though. I actually prefer the lower bandwidth if it means I have a smaller antenna, but I’ve been burned too many times on plans that charge by the GB that I just can’t go down that road again.

Really is a great service. Yeah, the Gen3 was a bit bulky for us as well. The lower bandwidth is fine with me as well, when I first purchased the Gen3 the $50 50G roam was not an option, only for the Mini. However sounds like they just changed it again. That's the only concern I have is the constant change in price. Hopefully the $50 options stays for a while.
