I think what dave is getting at is he think it is wrong to work 2 or more remote jobs at the same time. Which makes sense from an employer point of view , it could be seen as unethical etc . For example , if you were to be doing remote customer service calls while working at mcdonalds, mcdonalds would probably fire you.

Economy 101: prices do not change. The value of the currency changes. Gold is worth the same as it was 1000 years ago. What has changed is the amount of gold that you can buy with your currency. Gas does not go up. Unless it is due to a regulation fee, gas stays the same. Your money on the other hand goes up and down in the amount of purchase power that it holds. Cash does not create the economy, the economy creates the cash!

I do it once every other week. So every other week (when u get paid), you get paid, put $50 aside for that one eating out. I don't use $50, could be less, could be. However much you need for your family of 4. For me, it's just me, so about $15 per meal/eating out. So technically I only spend 30 a month eating out.

Investing in alternate income streams should be the top priority for everyone right now especially given the global economic crisis we are currently experiencing. Stocks, gold, silver and virtual currencies are still attractive investments at the moment.

When I was raising my kids, I had to work two, sometimes three, and at one point four in-person jobs. I did this to stay out of debt, and to allow my wife (who usually made more money than i did) to stay at home and raise the kids. A work-from-home option would have been great, especially on the part-time jobs I had. Dave is a bit out of touch on this issue. Sometimes I think he needs to take all his money and go fishing full time or something like that.

Here is my thing. Even as a salaried employee, one of the first things you will be told during onboarding in any company is what your working hours are. Generally, that will be 8 to 5 for most people. I personally would not be able to do this, but at 6pm if I want to go swing from a stripper bar until midnight, that's my business, not the employer's.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate the stability of the market and precisely when the change is going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every 7week these past 4months according to Bloomberg.

I think it's more: if you have at least 1-6 months rent ahead of time then you're not living paycheck to paycheck. So i guess it depends on if you have that stored up or if you're dependent every month on your job then even 100k/yr would be paycheck to paycheck

Question - are you the only person in your home making an income? I noticed a lot of the expenses you have (mortgage, insurance, groceries, takeout etc) are in YOUR BUDGET but does your wife contribute? If she is then I don't get why you're living paycheck to paycheck. I make 75k a year and my wife makes 90k and we split EVERYTHING. And even though I myself live paycheck to paycheck I spend money on tech often and my wife actually saves her cash A LOT.. we don't go out often, when we do our bill is only max 80 bucks and we don't "travel" Secondly, I never understand why people's grocery bill can be high and STILL eat out as much as you do. If I spend 700 a month on grocery best believe I'm eating it all.. some of it may spoil and we may still eat out once in a while but never to the tune of 700 bucks. Lastly, you have a 4 and a 2 year old... NONE of that takeout should be for them so I don't get that bill Lastly - where is your kids savings fund? You NEED to setup a savings fund for your kids, even if it's 50 bucks per paycheck it adds up and when they hit 18 they can have enough money to go to college or use towards a house for themselves easily...
@VyllenceGaming8 күн бұрын
I think you live paycheck to paycheck cuz you try to maintain a certain lifestyle and I don't think your wifes finances contribute towards it. Cut down on the lavish expenditure, eating out, excessive travelling and shopping, and offload some of the expenses on your wife. Ain't nothing wrong with a woman contributing to the bills
