Solid information sir! Thank you for sharing with us, especially under water. I’ll trim my swim jigs too sometimes but not much. I like the bigger blob profile. But things sitting and resting on the bottom, depending on the rubber, may get trimmed up some. A mix of silicone and living rubber is a solid combo.

I’m a fan of all living rubber or mix. But since I saw how the living rubber looks, I can’t wait to get the ones I ordered. This new BPS can’t keep anything stocked. They don’t even sell the Randy Blaukat jigs( I guess he’s too contreversial). 😂 and the Buckeyes are always sold out.

I forgot to mention in the video a lighter trimmed skirt will have more action when sitting still on the bottom with slight water movement.

Great presentation and showing the difference trimmed and untrimmed. I can definitely see how the action with the shorter skirt and the flared weed guard can be more enticing.

I’m glad you liked it. I had the lights a little bright. 🤣 I’ve done better. But when you stop a trimmed jig and the water has any movement the skirt moves. If the skirt is heavy it won’t. I forgot to mention that.

Iove jigs. Good tips. I personally love the G-man’s design on the buckeye jigs. It’s the ball’en out jigs. They are perfect.

@@Fishingwithfaithoutdoors23 I like any jig that has natural rubber instead of silicone. Dirty jigs has a mix of it. I haven’t seen the Swindle Jigs at Bas Pro.

I am sorry brother. I’m sworn to secrecy on this one. I’m not hiding it. But I can’t come out and say where it is. But you really can’t go wrong fishing anywhere in the Woodlands. Lake Woodlands is tough from the bank. But has some giants in it. But all the ponds of the Woodlands are well stocked and managed. Just heavily pressured.

@ If you are in NEED of fish. Lake Paloma in the Woodlands is a much better location. You will catch more fish and they haven’t been flooded by a wastewater treatment plant. Probably taste better.

Without a doubt, the greatest gift we as Christians can share with this crazy world is the love of Christ in us. I say this as an imperfect man but Christ in me can shine through my attitude and actions. Its also what binds us together and can make perfect strangers feel like brothers and sisters when we have Christ in common.

Park at the YMCA or there is a parking lot at the end of W Cypress Forest Drive where you can come in from the back.

Yeah because the ospreys and the eagles are pretty numerous along these creeks and I’ve just had the worst time with top water on these ponds.

@ all the public fishing areas here in ga and big lakes have eagles so that’s something to take in consideration. Top water bite for me pass few years have been off.

Wow. That's one of the coolest looking eagles I've ever seen . Beautiful color. He didn't seem to mind getting filmed either. He was definitely focused on his meal.

@ it’s an osprey. We have them all over around here because of the bayous and creeks. We have 3 good sized rivers in the area too. The Trinity, San Jacinto and Brazos.

Mike, it’s always a good time to throw a craw or creature bait haha. I’ve always got some tied on my Texas, and my last 4.6 was on a little craw 😉. I think with that clear water, natural colors would work for a Tx. GP blue shift is one I like

Yeah the wind has made drone flying sparse. But yes, I love the view. We had a wonderful Christmas and I’m sure the Lord has a great New Year in store. I just tend to have better luck on baitfish presentations this time of year. But right now they don’t seem really interested in anything. 😂 I do hope you and yours had a great Christmas and have a blessed New Year.

I don’t believe smoking weed is a sin unless you value it more than God. Unless it causes you to do other sins. But smoking weed in of itself in moderation I don’t believe it’s a sin anymore than alcohol. It’s when you overdo it and idolize it in my opinion. I used to drink beer and fish. I started abusing it and God helped me give it up. I believe that’s a sin. I was mistreating people. It’s the getting too drunk or too high that causes the sin. That’s my understanding. The word condemns drunkards many times but not drinkers. Jesus even made wine for a wedding. I don’t believe it was non alcoholic wine for a minute. It really doesn’t mention weed, but I assume being too high or too drunk is the same thing. God gives us good things. But we tend to overdo those things and make them bad. A little help to relax or unwind is not a bad thing. Thanks for stopping by brother.

That’s good. But, I have seen people make idols of elected officials to where it even brings division between so called believers. They don’t like each other because of who they are voting for. They make fun of the other on social media. I really don’t think that’s how Jesus would have disciples acting. I was talking about extremes. I was skunked in the first video I made and I believe I said what was on my heart a lot better. But the sound didn’t come out. This one, the fish kept interrupting me. Hallelujah! 😂

I'm one of those Christians that is very political. I don't worship anyone but God, but I do believe God appoints certain leaders for specific times in history. I also believe we should do everything we can to fight evil in this world and those that promote it. The differences in the two sides have never been more apparent than they are today. I don't think we as Christians should sit on the sidelines. With over 40,000,000 of us in the USA,our voice makes a big difference, determining the direction our country takes.

I agree we shouldn’t sit on the sidelines, but I see a lot of Christians who’ve forgotten that we have a true King and have forgotten to look for his return. Like an idol of any kind, we can’t become more preoccupied with the created than the creator.

Political figures can certainly become idols. Let us not forget they’re called to repent and turn to Christ for life too. No king but Christ! Romans 13 is often quoted as a prescription of how Christians should behave but I’ll submit that Romans 13:3-4 is actually a description of how authorities ought to act…we obey authorities that carry out “good” and execute God’s wrath. They are expected to use His standard of good and evil. They obey Him first then subsequently we obey them. Christians can fall into the apathetic category concerning politics too. They’ll say the Bible isn’t a religious book….Jesus was killed by the local governing authorities as were many of His followers. For what? Failing to bend the knee. No king but Christ!

Exactly, just like when Israel was sent into exile. God told them live peaceably and it would go well for them. Jeremiah 29:4-7. God is watching over his people no matter where he puts them. But like Daniel and his friends, we always obey God first.

Definitely thankful for the Father sending his Son, to die for us. Also thankful for family. Getting time off work to spend with all of my children and wife. Thankful for my job. Thankful for a great hobby in bass fishing .
