Thank you very much, after the stupid suggestion of "if the automatic position sensor gives an error, make manual adjustment", which was explained as a solution in about 1 million other videos I watched, I thank you very much for saying that the problem was the paper margin settings on the printer. I use my cameo 3 and cameo 4 in a copy center and change the margin settings for different jobs so that my printer can center the print on duplex prints. Regarding this problem, Silhouette Turkey's authorized technical service suggested to me that I should place fewer objects on paper, but of course this did not solve the problem. Even the authorized technical service could not explain to me why my cameo 3 and cameo 4 cutting machines, which used to cut the same number of objects, now give a position sensor error and cannot cut. The problem was solved by reducing the printer margin to just 1mm on the printer screen. Hey Silhouette Türkiye technical service, hear this and don't make fools of us.

Unfortuantly this seems to be unhelpful for Mac users. Everything is in a different place. I'm so stressed trying to figure this out and on top of that I barely know how a Mac works in the first place! I never should have switched from PC. Thanks for making this great video! I'm just disappointed that my printer is still misaligned. *sigh* If anyone has a tip for this issue while using a Mac I would be very appreciative!

Oh my god… I think I love you 😂 I have had my Silhouette Cameo 3 for a very long time and each year I brought it out to try again I was so ready to throw it out the window…. But this little trick you gave was amazing it worked. I couldn’t believe how much my square and corner box were out of whack. I eventually found the place I needed to change it from that to be honest was the hardest part. I did it in the silhouette software in the end and it’s now definitely a game changer as I no longer have to cut my labels by hand anymore… yay, THANKYOU so very much x

Oh My Goodness your video is a lifesaver. I sell SVG with DXF files included Did not know you had to make the lettering into a compound path to make the A & o ect. so they wouldn't be left when trying to move the lettering. Yay!

This may help someone like me, I tried something weird than it worked! I just folded my paper and saw some misalignment with my printer (Canon G2060), I just do one thing then the alignment shows correctly, Just goto Preference -> Page Setup -> Just uncheck this box "Automatically reduce large document that the printer cannot output", This magically worked for me :) Hope it will save someone's life too...

My registration marks were off too, and I managed to fix them with my printer settings. However the Cameo cuts exactly the same.. must be another issue here.

my lil box is actually sitting above the guideline. so in this instance, which offset should i adjust to either move the box down a bit...or move the guide line up?

I tried on my 2 different canon printer as well as on my epson, impossible to aligne the marks, i really regret buying this Cameo 4.

When I print n cut for 5pcs, there alway 3 of them r out of cutting line. Its OK when u do for small amount of stickers but sometime we get a big amount of order then the problem will become serious. 3hours job become 6 hours. Wasting time n stickers. Almost want to throw this stupid machine n get the other brand. I'm gonna try your way tonight. Tq for sharing, hope it works. (sorry for the broken English guys😅)

I was ready to Olympic-style hammer throw my brand new Cameo 4 down the street!...I will add, for anyone scouring the internet like myself, that the "advanced settings" can be found under the "page setup" in Silhouette Studio Designer Edition...the same place used to add the registration marks. It took multiple attempts at changing the settings and test printing, but...SUCCESS! Thanks again!!! (I'm using the Canon MG3620 printer)
