Honestly think narrative NT-D needs a buff by shortening the time requirement for blue mode, would possibly help the unit overall bit I have seen people cook with it on occasions, The OG ntd's are ok with the OG banshees being the worst lol definitely needs a rework

Short answer, xi yes, pene no, Long answer: xi is better meta wise and will probably live longer in the meta, Pene is great but not on xi level and the only reason you would pick it is for the design if you prefer it more

1# that's just the meta atm and there's no way of escaping it until more suits come out, Some people just don't want to play meta and I get that,using the same 2 suits over and over is boring and unfun even if it means a lose or me getting focused. 2# they aren't being selfish just weary, if you know this map camping a beacon in the beginning is pretty much certain death, there's also the risk of camping a beacon then being separated or getting attacked by a xi or pene using forced deployment, Look again at 6:27 please. One xi spawns in and another is already there repairing, but if you look at the bottom left of the base a human just spawned in there waiting for somebody to bomb the base, you even see him spawn his xi at 7:15, he would of jacked a suit if someone decided to bomb making our lose even worse. It's because we're in S we noticed that and just decided to keep fighting on.

If you're talking about the mega beam cannon on the arm, then yes I know it's there and there's a reason almost no one uses it and why I didn't use it, short explanation it's awful, long explanation: it takes almost 14 secs to charge which isn't the worst but the problem with it is that it has no pierce, no stun build up or damage, the best I've seen the damage is around 2k on genreals and 4k on supports, you could charge it sure but on artic base if the enemy sees you charging it then your pretty much asking to die its a meme weapon, it's best to charge in with funnel lock on or melee, Honestly think it should be buffed but only a small one, Pene being a Ranged suit is probably it's biggest flaw lol, the design of this suit is somewhat of a mess as well that i could start a long rant.If it didn't have force deployment there's no way this thing would be a 5* Imo pene was designed to counter hws and only hws. FF and varguil are still soild choices definitely agree on that, and yea nightingale was pretty much thrown under the bus lol, ever since it came out it was pretty much a THE O 2.0 fighting for its spot on the meta. I still think the biggest fumble of the devs is that there's no 750 cost, pretty much shows how incompetent the devs are and they know that basically %80 of 700 suits are unusable atm but still pretend there's no problems

Yeah probably the best option, pene isn't bad it's just that atm no one plays supports and the unit people do play HEAVILY counter the pene, if it didn't have it's force deployment I would say it's 4 star tier
