This was the very first subway station that I ever visited in NYC. June 13, 2015 is when I boarded a Manhattan bound 7 train there. The very first train I rode. I took a Q72 bus there from LaGuardia Airport.

Wow, things used to be a lot calmer back in 2022. Things have definitely gotten a lot busier since then. Didn't used to ride Metro much before the pandemic so I'm sure things will keep getting busier. Also what in the world was that blue train doing at 37:55? How did it even get there? Got lost after Pentagon???

I think about so many people who would get off at that station to get to work near the courts and borough hall. Perhaps they live along the 4th Ave line and work in downtown Brooklyn. Theyd use this station daily.

There's a donut shop right outside the Manhattan bound exit that I've enjoyed eating at on previous trips there. I also stayed right near this station on my only winter trip to New York back in January 2018. I rode an R train pantsless that trip.
