R46/R68A N Local And Q Express Trains At 86th Street

Service Today:
N: Broadway Local and 4th Avenue Express. Via Whitehall Street (Northbound). Via Manhattan Bridge (Southbound). Via Sea Beach. Astoria Ditmars Blvd, Queens to Coney Island, Brooklyn.
Q: Broadway Express and 4th Avenue Express. Via Manhattan Bridge. Via Sea Beach. 96th Street 2nd Avenue, Manhattan to Coney Island, Brooklyn.
Because Of Communication Improvements, Queens N trains ran on the R line from Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center to Canal Street.
Trains stopped at DeKalb Avenue, Jay Street MetroTech, Court Street, Whitehall Street South Ferry, Rector Street, Cortlandt Street and City Hall.
Note: At Canal Street, Uptown N trains will stop at the R platform during this time.
Because Of Track And Signal Upgrading To Improve Service Reliability, Q trains were not running between Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center and Prospect Park. Service was rerouted in Brooklyn.
Q trains ran in two sections (every 12 minutes days/evenings):
1. Between 96th Street and Coney Island, making some stops on the D,N lines (see below)
2. Shuttle train between Prospect Park and Coney Island
In Brooklyn:
Q trains from Manhattan only stopped at Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center*, 36th Street, 59th Street, and Coney Island on the N line.
Q trains to Manhattan only stopped at Coney Island, Bay Parkway, 62nd Street, 9th Avenue, 36th Street, and Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center* on the D line, then ran on the R line to Canal Street.
Free shuttle Buses stopped at Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center, 7th Avenue and Prospect Park.
Transfer between Q trains and Free Shuttle Buses at Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center and/or Prospect Park.
Transfer between Q to/from Manhattan and Q Shuttle at Coney Island.
For DeKalb Avenue, take the R via transfer at Canal Street or Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center
*Note: All Q trains at Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center board from the D,N platform.
