The only place I found these in bulk where my local ma and pop fish shops. Not just this size but other various sizes.

It can't be that complicated. You must be over complicating it, right?

I also bought a fire fish not realizing they just hide all day. I agree, not worth having one at all.

Beautiful tank, would have loved to been able to see it more, a little less moving so people can see. But keep doing what you are doing!

Im on a tight budget and not a pro in saltwater ive just started with only 6 months of experience in saltwater and about a very long time in freshwater I completely understand the price change but i feel like its quite easy once you understand water chemistry and aquarium maintenance my setups are cheap

Hey pal. Just found your channel. Great context. Short and sweet. Doesn’t look like you uploaded anything recently. All good with the tanks? Has life taken over and no more time for KZbin?

I really appreciate this video. I was considering to get myself a saltwater aquarium but now I realise I won't devote to it the time it really deserves, so skipping it. Thanks.

Well, im reading the comments and so many people are so intimidated by this video. im in saltwater 3 years now and in the begining it was a strugle because i was lackig knowledge. i run a 120g tank with no sump, no filter socks,no media. Only a bag of carbon, in the refugeum ( hang on the back) a skimer ( hang on the back) and a dosing pump ( DD PRO ) from marketplace And it really works so great for me ( lps and soft corals only ). Dont be afraid to start. For me the simpler the better.

i’m always torn about starting a Reef tank, and although you make this look very simple it seems like a hell of a lot of work compared to my 2 freshwater tropical tanks. Not sure if i’ll ever make the switch

The reason your fire fish hides is because you have two territorial clown fish in a small tank

I think the reason your firefish hides is because of the small space, lack of schooling mates and the territorial clowns. I have two purple fire fish and they swim in the middle section all day long until night time when they hide to sleep. I have a 350 litre tank with 1 foxface, blue tang, yellow tang, 2 clowns, 1 fanged blenny, 1 demsel, 1 cleaner wrasse, 2 clowns, 1 royal gramma, 1 red hawkfish and loads of inverts. None of them are hiding from each other

The two cables do matter and I believe you flipped it. I used your method and the motor was running without water coming out. Switched it and water started coming out. Great video regardless.

It's not easy it's complicating, demanding of time and attention and 1 mistake away from losing everything. Like riding a bike it gets easier with experience but it's not easy

Love the commentary on the fire fish! Not an exciting fish! I will comment on the zoas though. I don't like recommending them to beginners. I feel that people should study up on palytoxin before they purchase Zoanthids or Palythoa too many kids are keeping poisonous corals without understanding the ramifications. Cheers, Chris

A Hippo Tang is perfect. Preferabbly a nice school of 10 or more since the tank does look to be a tad large for this specific species.
