Ironically, this video conveniently avoids mentioning the other turmoil he caused that referenced his decision. It wasn't just lack of play time, he has already unenrolled when Tebow made the decision to return to Florida.

Just a comment on how you mentioned the folks raised in the Midwest are not used to championships. I was born in the Midwest in the 50’s and we had a lot of great teams from the center of the country and the western side as well. Occasionally someone from the east would poke their head in but not often. And although we did not have a “national championship” game per se, one of the bowl games would often determine the champion so all eyes were on that game. SEC is a relative latecomer and has been dominating recently, but you have a lot more college football history than just the last 20 years. And other parts of the country dominated much longer than that.

Your website is a soulless husk without the comment section. Sure, there were some lunatics in there but for the most part, it was a respectful and engaging conversation with varying viewpoints. Get over yourselves and open it back up. In the long run, getting rid of the comment section will kill the website and if you wait too long, no one will come back.

The SEC is not dying, but the Big 10 (silly name at this point) has caught up. This is a down year for the SEC, not a funeral. If Saban was still at Bama, I don't think this would even be a conversation. Big Ten fan, by the way

Wouldn't the SEC be a silly name as well then? Almost a third of the conference is west of the Mississippi, not in the southeast.

It may be, considering the youth of the team, they don't really need anyone from the portal. We see what happens to a team that relies too much on the portal ... hello FSU ... so I'm not excited about getting what is essentially the "best of the rest". Just because the portal exists, doesn't mean we have to get someone every year and while the talking heads think Florida needs this or that, I trust Napier over them. If Napier doesn't get squat from the portal I wouldn't lose a bit of sleep.

Two things. First congrats to Connor. He predicted before the season that Arkansas would beat Tennessee. Tennessee has beaten five teams that beat a team currently in the AP Top 15. Has Ohio State or Penn State or anyone else beaten five teams that on one weekend were able to defeat a final Top 15 team? Not Top 25 ranked but Top 15. Alabama, Florida, Vandy, Oklahoma and Kentucky rose up at least one weekend to beat a Final Top 15 team in the AP poll. Those count as quality wins for the five teams. But beating them are not quality wins for UT? Hmmm. Better to beat five 7-5 teams I suppose in most people's eyes.

6:39 alabama goes and loses by 21, but forgets to mention to a 500 team and didn’t score a td, head to head matters but when the 3 losses are to teams that play so inconsistent, and are on a downturn it’s time to look at the facts. ones going into the shitter and ones rising.
@brooksmoore45392 ай бұрын
Surely the committee sees Carolina as a 2 loss team like everyone else who has a rational thought process. LSU is a win for Carolina and everyone knows it. It just doesn’t show that in the column.
@jadenwagener32592 ай бұрын
SC fans wouldn't even be talking about playoffs if the Gamecocks had lost clean to LSU, but that isn't what happened. Having that game stolen by some of the most controversial officiating this season is why Gamecock fans are angry. This team should have 2 losses, not 3.
@leonidismaximus51602 ай бұрын
Ole miss was the second loss, and funny how you dont mention the lsu loss which was bs according to all who watched, this team should be 9-2 and 2 pts shy at bama of being 10-1 and they havent lost since then which was 10/12. Find me a team playing better we win we should be in cant tell me theres 12 better teams especially when they include boise indiana asu
@GodLovesComics2 ай бұрын
South Carolina will be saying for decades to come "We should have been in the playoffs" if/when they beat Clemson and if they get left out. But I would much rather get to play Ohio State or Oregon on the road than have to say that. carolina is 2-0 vs Ohio State in bowl games, and Oregon's leader in Sacks and TFL's, Jordan Burch, is an SC native who transferred last year. But if he hadn't, he wouldn't even be a starter on the current SC D-line...he would just be a valuable guy off the bench.

South Carolina fans want to be in the playoff, but beating Clemson is by far more important to the fans. They will have all the trophies, (John Bonham, Mayors Cup, Palmetto Trophy). This season is a success already. The Playoff is house money.

Meth Valley. Thats Clemson.
@jonathanhampton83792 ай бұрын
I hear you, but a couple things I would consider is that the committee has shown that the QB matters. Outside of the game being stolen by officials, Sellers missed the second half vs. LSU. He and Rocket were also banged up vs. Ole Miss and we see the result. Also, if they decide to go with the best 12 teams right now, there aren’t 12 teams that are playing better than SC is right now. SC also has a high SOS, and with the opportunity to beat a team ranked ahead of you, on the road, they could finish at 11th if a couple others lose, especially if they blow Clemson out. I’m not here to say they deserve to be in outright, but there is certainly a strong case to be made.
@JRollster0032 ай бұрын
The Reason Carolina should be considered is because that LSU game was HEAVILY influenced by the refs…..like you said, One more win, and it’s a moot point! And the point of a 12 team playoff is to get the BEST teams playing……and you can’t tell me that you think all the teams ahead of Carolina are better teams Right Now than them. Now if Carolina loses Sat, it’s a moot point….but if they win by 10+ against a top 15 team, I mean, how can you legitimately say hey, they don’t deserve to be in???
@GodLovesComics2 ай бұрын
On one hand, you can't punish Bama or Ole Miss for the LSU refs. On the other, you could ask, is South Carolina a better team that Bama and Ole Miss now...and the answer is YES! Ole Miss is a team that lost to Kentucky (a team that SC destroyed). Lost to LSU by the same margin (3 points) SC lost by, but SC didn't have laNorris Sellers the entire second half and of course had not one but two Pick's 6's called back on outrageous calls. Finally Ole Miss still controlled their own destiny when they played Florida last week, and they lost that also. As for Bama, they too had their fate in their hands and lost to mediocre Oklahoma team 24-3. The same team SC beat in Norman, 35-9! Now Ole Miss will finish 9-3 against a horrible Miss State team that is winless in the SEC. While the Gamecocks have to beat yet another ranked team in Clemson just to finish 9-3. Unfortunately, the CFP is still going to prioritize head-to-head over common opponents and who is the hotter team. It's likely the Carolina gets screwed over, as usual.
@JRollster0032 ай бұрын
Also, you set the precedent last year with Florida State that even if a team wins ALL their games, but they aren’t thought to be the best team, then they shouldn’t get in!
