Very cool! I had a MCS Magnum 24 cruiser back in the day. I won more races on that bike than on any other bike. Bill it was an absolute pleasure to meet you. Thank you for helping me with all my questions about my older GT cruiser. I also appreciate the great deal you gave me on the carbon fiber fly helmet. It has a good home and will be put to use. Anyway thanks again my friend.

They will a little but your gonna be choppin the rest of the track try changing the front sprocket a tooth or 2 down and see if that does it

You know I thought about that and I can tell you I had much more power out of the first turn and rail the second turn and wasn't chopping at all it felt really good. By the way, I ran a 43-16 with 185's racing in 1987 at South Park and I got second place in AA Pro behind Charles Townsend. My point and all of this is that there's not one thing that's the absolute best for every single person. There might be a whole lot of people that feel a burst out of the gate but can't spin longer cranks and they need to know that. For me, shorter cranks and harder gears just don't work..... It just makes my legs want to shut down.

Not to mention, from my perspective tracks today don't have any place where you spin out anyway.. the only place that you come close to that's on the first straight away and even that's getting more cut up with jumps you have to get back side on. After that, the track is all rhythm sections step jumps triples and railing turns. You're not even spinning out at that point

Excellent. Why is Vet Pro always tight racing right until the finish. Other classes are really spread out. Vet are bunched up until they cross the line. its great.

@@byrningmad1768 Many years ago there was a Vet Pro race. Billy Briggs was there among many other old school names. The lead changed 4 or 5 times by the finish. It was epic action. One of the best races I've ever seen. It was voted race of the day. I did post it on one of the many FB groups but I'm damned if I can find it. Thank you for the videos. Always good to watch.

Hey buddy I know this has been asked a hundred times before but what was the city of fort Walton Beach's grievances with the park? I know there's two sides to every story, I'd love to hear your side. Thanks for keeping the BMX love alive.

The main grievance they had was the city wanted to get rid of all independent contractors on city property. They struggled to validate that with me because the park was doing very well on its own. The last 3 years the city had a zero balance on the park's expenses, where I provided and paid for every expense to operate it. They tried to claim that the ramps weren't up to 'code' even though I had it all insured with a 2 million dollar policy, and the only ramps that didn't make this 'code' were the ramps they originally bought that were falling apart. They put up no treated wood right onto a cement pad which just sucked up moisture and they just rotted out. The main thing was the P&R Director didn't like extreme sports as he was the high school quarterback. Probably had a girlfriend stolen by a surfer or skater.
