I have a laowa 65mm(cine) macro. Up to 2:1 magnification. Its an AMAZING lens. For landscape, portraits or macro. I use it 60% of the time. Its a 700€ lens. So a bit more expensive ,but this lens isnt made for macro really

I prefer for Rear camera using mini 2x .. interior camera using rear camera on the back..

I've used this lens plenty at outdoor events and often wanted more range for long distance candid portraits, I would say that Panasonic/Leica made things difficult for 4/3 owners

Yes I had to use the Sigma dock to tune the lens as the old Sigma EF lenses will back focus on RF mount bodies. Once it's tuned tack sharp lens !

eventually tried this solution, but AF really becomes bad at farther end - need to zoom out, then autofocus and then zoom in again. Next time will try without blocked pins - from brief test seems it improves af success rate at farther end

This laptop has disappeared in time but I just picked one up on ebay and I LOVE it! the perfect size. I know why Samsung got rid of it ''cough Fold Z'' But I really think they should update the A 8.0 with Spen to 2025 version! I also got this exact case on mouse on aliexpress and it works amazing. enough space to hold my steidler pencil too!

Wow nice video, i am actually planning to buy that lens for my R6 but i am concerned about the autofocus performance since i do a lot of action photography like soccer and racing car, do you think the autofocus perform well in your R8?, and are you having issue in the focusing speed cannot keep up while tracking a moving subject?

tracking is ok adapted EF won't be as fast as RF lenses and use lower fps like H instead of H+ else you'll get many slow focus images till the lens motor catches up to the next shot

What is your take on Rf 100-400f8+rf2x vs 800 mm f11? Is it worth buying 800 if you have the first combo? I suspect 800 for me would be inconvinient and often kept at home, but if it is worth for extra 2x reach maybe worth thinking again

Both has pros & cons if I'm traveling all the time 100-400mm + 1.4x or 2x is much better option as the 800mm if limited to only birding wildlife with zero chance of focusing near subjects and larger to pack

This happened with me, I was driving my DJi air 3. It was detecting 31 satellites but was showing Red Cross on it . I started flying it and it went straight up to 120m , broke that ceiling and went to 500m and broke that ceiling and wasn’t responding to my stick command , it went berserk and went up to 2200M and did a force landing. And now it’s not turning at all. Like not even the beep sound from the aircraft or the flash jndicator . No sound. The battery lights up when it is pressed but the aircraft doesn’t do anything

same ring adapter as x100 series and front just use step up ring to 52mm for any +10 diopter for macro or wide angle filter

speed booster is APS-C size won't be full frame I did this hack in anticipation of the new R7ii coming next year as Canon didn't release any long lens for APS-C so this lens at RF-S 900mm f8 is a great combo for R7ii

Taping the last 2 pins will make the camera think it's an EF lens everything else still works accordingly it's so weird as to why the boxed it while using RF lens but works fully with EF lens no logic

It seems r10 + rf 2x + rf-ef drilled + 55-250 stm will be even more compact, bit with similar resolution (250*1.6) and similar light (5.6*1.6~f8). What do you think of it? I suspect 100-400 may be sharper, but not sure

@GremHopkins rf100-400 is sharper if bright 🌞 enough but in lower light conditions a brighter EF lens maybe more suitable then just topaz sharpen it
