Wow it's so surprising to see people still playing this masterpiece. I used to play this a lot when I was a kid, I finally finished it last year. Great game, shame there won't be a sequel, considering the current political state of the world but also because the story was completely told in the first game. Here's hoping for a remake. Keep on with the quality videos!

i've been a massive half life fan making mods since i was like 12 and until now i literally never knew that you could actually see alyx getting captured in the streetwars, i remember finding the sequence for it while looking at the animations for the soldier and thinking it was just some unused event also note on the apcs: that same glitch applies to any apcs that are scripted to drive, this happens because they're actually just a reskinned buggy with a special npc that drives it. unlike the jeep however the apc doesn't have the special attachment point that tells the game where to put the player's camera when they're driving it which is what causes the camera to freak out like that

I have read somewhere that sometime at time of development the APC was to be made drivable by Gordon Freeman but this idea was later dropped, this is reason that somewhere in game option to enter APC was left mistakenly. I never needed to break those glasses as I had hand grenades & incase if you’re lucky to get your hands on some proximity mines to deal with those soldiers suddenly coming from that room. By the way, the soldiers does the job of breaking those glasses as soon as you hit the switch. And it’s great to say, I never used any trainers, cheat codes, etc to play any games. Because doing such ruins the taste instantly. By the way, it was a good video about some glitches.

I also play games normally first time or two times to enjoy them as developer intended but use trainers and mods when doing these videos as per requirement. and yes this mission can be completed without breaking those glasses. It looks like you have unlimited ammo on the RPG, how did you do that? Also how come you have weapons that are normally not specific to a mission, for example you had PSG and Minimi in prison escape, G36 in Airstrike?

You can shoot a grenade over the engineer’s head and save him, just as the door falls open. He does eventually follow, with a bit of persuasion, and you have a band of 4 followers against the black ops.... He’s not much use, though. And the guy with the SAW is a badass, but he tends to wait just behind me. I try to push him into the action, so I can get his SAW without killing him myself (such is my concern for my troops! why am I not an officer?)
