Man looking back on these songs they were not bad. This song got hated on for nothing. I know music is subjective but still. My Take : Song Length : People didn't like how long the song was. This never bothered me because it is a big moment in the story and should be lengthy and intense. I usually don't like long songs but this works here being six minutes long. Hated Instrumental : I personally think it was just a slowburn into intensity. At first when the guys are all corrupted the instrumental is very simple and generic. Then when Cleveland starts to get out the beat gets dampened and afterwards when Cleveland gets out and raps the instrumental adds more instruments. Then it dampens down again when Glenn starts to get out. When Quagmire gets out and Herbert starts to get corrupted the intensity picks back up again. Peter starts to come out and the same intensity in the instrumental stays. Afterwards Peter gets out and the instrumental goes full on Orchestral when Joe starts to fight out of the corruption. The instrumental is at the climax stage and is at peak intensity. Then all too fast it goes *truly lifeless* as Death gets corrupted and is left behind with the wind blowing and glitchy sounds in the background. I'm probably reading way too into this but I don't give a fuck. Silhouette Sections : A lot of people didn't like the long uncorrupting sections with the very dampened instrumental and while I agree I think they are necessary to make you feel suspense since you don't know what could happen. And then you're suspicions are accounted for when Herbert starts to get corrupted and Death at the end gets corrupted and left behind which is low-key sad as hell. Death got so done dirty. A true anti - hero who sacrifices himself to save the guys. Edit : I can't wait for the "I ain't reading all that" comments lol. But if you did read all of this thanks for reading my comment rambling about this song XD. I had nothing to talk about on Treachery because I like the song already. I just wanted to give more love to Overture v1.

Imma be real here, i dont like this. Doesnt really feel intense, this is the 2nd song into the 'mod' and the characters feel like they are having fun and they know what they are fighting. Peter being changed from half corrupted mid way through to now not really hurts this as well, at least it felt like in Fulfil V1 he was fighting for Lois, this it just feels like he isnt. Evil Stewie's entrance feels off as well, doesnt feel as imposing as in V1, just feels like he exists just cause he does in V1. Song is decent, just how it fits in really doesn't and i cant wait for the jiggarypokery the Devs are gonna play with the timeline to fit this in. Ive said it before and ill say it again, make your minds up, stop chopping and changing every damn song/revamp. Sorry for the rant love you QLS team but please stop changing the lore, it hurts my brain.
