I am so amazed by your patience and your instructions couldn’t be any clearer. Because of that, I just subscribed to your channel. For someone who’s never crocheted before, you just inspired me to try it and I think I can do this! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!

I'm making my basket larger. The bottom is nine and a half wide. Is there a sequence you use for the height before the belt and after the belt so that it comes out with correct a measurements?
@jototheworldcreations6 күн бұрын
Hello! Even if you make the bottom larger, you can still follow the instructions for the sides if you want the sides to be the same size as mine (3.5" high). If you want the sides to be higher, the number of rounds before and after the belt would depend on how high you want the sides to be. I used red for the sides Round 1 & 2, black for 3 & 4, and then red for 5 & 6 (then white for two rounds). You can make extra rounds of red before and after the rounds of black (the belt). I would recommend making the same number of rounds before and after (i.e. make 4 rounds of red, 2 rounds of black, 4 rounds of red). Hope this helps!

Very Beginner crocheter here... this is only my 3rd project ever! I love how easy your tutorials are to follow... yet I still messed up a bit. No worries, I'm still happy with the results. I even made a pumpkin SMALLER than your smallest one, following your pattern, but with less stitches. Thanks, I'm now a Jo to the World fan!!!

Hi! I only have access to weight 5 (bulky) yarn in my country. How can I adapt this pattern to weight 5 yarn?
@jototheworldcreations13 күн бұрын
I really wish I could help but I've only designed, made and tested the pattern with size 6 (super bulky) yarn and I wouldn't want to give you inaccurate information. One thing you could try is using two strands of size 5 (bulky) yarn, treating them as one and crocheting normally. I haven't tried that myself but it may give you the same bulkiness as using size 6 yarn. Again, I have not tested that but wanted to provide a suggestion. :)
@eternalia405911 күн бұрын
@@jototheworldcreations Thanks so much for the suggestion! I'll do my best with the yarn I have and let you know how it goes :) Going to make 2 pairs as christmas presents for my mom and dad.

Just size your hook up and you should be fine. Blanket yarn is so thick that you wouldn’t be able to see or feel holes. Size your hook up by .5 or 1 and it should be fine.
