Hi! I only have access to weight 5 (bulky) yarn in my country. How can I adapt this pattern to weight 5 yarn?

I really wish I could help but I've only designed, made and tested the pattern with size 6 (super bulky) yarn and I wouldn't want to give you inaccurate information. One thing you could try is using two strands of size 5 (bulky) yarn, treating them as one and crocheting normally. I haven't tried that myself but it may give you the same bulkiness as using size 6 yarn. Again, I have not tested that but wanted to provide a suggestion. :)

@@jototheworldcreations Thanks so much for the suggestion! I'll do my best with the yarn I have and let you know how it goes :) Going to make 2 pairs as christmas presents for my mom and dad.

Just size your hook up and you should be fine. Blanket yarn is so thick that you wouldn’t be able to see or feel holes. Size your hook up by .5 or 1 and it should be fine.
