The creator of this video is more worried about phrases and is in denial. I've been to India in 2007 and 2023 the bus stations don't seem to have been cleaned properly nor refurbished since they were built (perhaps late 1970's). Same for shop fronts that look like the were built in the 1930's and never be refurbished or cleaned (inside many are ok). No pavements, open sewers and ditches were common on side roads as were piles of rubbish (they don't have house to house waste collection). The Ganges is referred to as the 'Holy River' in which people bathe and wash their clothes but it's full of sewage, chemicals, human and animal remains !! They still can't clean it despite many attempts - it shows some of the Indian mindset and is embarrassing.

It seems to me the problem is with character/integrity, self respect, and common courtesy. You cannot tell me the "broken window" theory drives men to pee all over walls in public spaces. The whole rest of the world did away with diapers by the time they were two, and are capable of holding it until they are at a designated place.

LEARN FROM JAPAN!
@observer-2LC23 күн бұрын
India cannot learn from Japan, too big of a difference, need to start somewhere small. Japan is way too far ahead - Indian mentality is backwards. The cows still roaming free, which create chaos, you think if the cows are considered sacred, they would keep them in a safer place, instead of roaming free in the cities, risking getting killed! Just doesn't make any sense!

The photo from England is VERY rare I think people can ignore bins. But it's looked down upon. I've lived all over UK all my life never seen anything close to that bad. I did spot an Indian family few years ago fly tipping all their garbage even th council provide big bins. No disrespect to that family maybe they needed to be shown. We have problem with our own fly tippers too and they have no excuse. Our rivers don't look like that we don't have massive disease problems for a reason. Pooping in the street doesnt help the health of your kids. Also basic hygiene with street food.

Video, the speaker says we should encourage private sector teachers to join publicschools.. And also goes on to say this can be done by providing better wages and fortunate or what the speaker does not understand is that the government school teachers are exponentially highly paid teachers when compared to private school Teachers who work hard for peanuts

Great video! It really hits the nail on the head when it comes to the issues in India's education system. The way you highlighted the overemphasis on bookish knowledge and how that kills creativity and practical skills is spot on. Comparing us to China and Japan was a real eye opener there's so much we can learn from them. We seriously need to stop turning education into a rat race and focus on real, well-rounded development. Thanks for bringing attention to these important issues!

Not just the education dept., the entire system of India is rotten. Living in this country is itself a big punishment due to the low-level thinking of politicians.
@avi21252 ай бұрын
Most state schools do not easily advertise teacher vacancies - in fact there are severe waiting lists for appointments. Schooling of course depends on school - the teachers, the basic learning environment, and the teaching/learning material (textbooks). As someone with some exposure to govt school kids in Delhi, esp among "lower-class" kids, there are several issues with both textbooks _and_ the teaching. Even NCERT books, while trying to be interactive, are complex, unnecessarily long-winded, and thick with unexplained concepts. The teaching leaves a lot to be desired. Fundamental concepts in the physical sciences and social science. In fact in every subject. Most kids are behind in their Hindi/English reading. While most "upper class schools" have more qualified faculty and students have access to better resources, such is not the case at the lower rung, with govt schools... Solutions - revision of text books to make them simpler and less burdensome. Capable teacher recruitment. That is just a start...

Take it from a Black guy born in 🇨🇦, and has lived in 🇨🇦 for over 35yrs. It seems like over 90% of Indian immigrants I deal with are terribly socialized and poorly educated. They show extremely poor empathy and next to ZERO respect to black people. It is exhausting. I avoid them because I don’t like to be treated like garbage, they are some of the rudest people I deal with on a daily basis.

It's because of Indian People. Majority of them don't care about keeping their City clean and organized. Indians will try to keep their own Home clean, but as soon as they step outside, they treat their City as an open trash can. Indian People lack civic sense, courtesy, and don't care about following the Laws, or being organized.
Us hegemony must be stopped for a peaceful world. To stop the Us war machine, de$ is must
