This gave me chills, I left Christianity I was brought up in it my uncle is a pastor, what I saw was not a Christian way to live, when I left at 18 years old I never looked back and never wanted to step foot into a church again, I even questioned if there was a god at one point or if there was ever a man named Jesus, I now believe in both but not because of Christianity, I became spiritual and found God! My mom and dad are brainwashed into this Christian nationalist group, it's a nightmare, all I can do is pray for them right now that their hearts can open and they can see the truth for what it is, I'm really scared for this country, and I'm ashamed of all these people that I thought were Christians only to come to find out they're really not Christians in their hearts. I'm ashamed of my uncle who calls himself a pastor. They don't know what real love really is they don't know God!! Please God I pray for everyone that listens to this let this be an immediate download to your heart, try in the smallest ways to talk to your family members, and show them through your actions what God really is!! People are starting to wake up,Christ consciousness is going to return to the planet, it's happening right now as we speak as you listen to this!! Wake up and open your hearts so we can have heaven on Earth!! Please please!!

Mr James Talarico, you are the epitome of liberal Christianity which is not built on Jesus Christ and the Word of God; it is built on compromise after compromise--which is reflected so well with the Laodicean church. This is the (false) church that had everything, except truth, and Christ Jesus stood outside their hearts, knocking. You are a philosopher, and nothing else, and you are paving the way with countless others that will lead to a one world religious system to come. You are combining elements of every man-made religion, for a one world religion under a one world ruler which isn't Jesus Christ, he's the antichrist. You're message is pure fluff and extremely dangerous.

If there is anyone curious on looking into it for themselves, here are the three steps needed to follow, to get saved and be right with God who loved us all! Step 1. Realize that all have sinned before God, in one way or another, so everyone of us is a sinner in the sight of God. Romans 3: 10-12+23 (KJB) 10. "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" 11."There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God." 12."They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one." 23. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Step 2. Realize that God still loved us, even as wicked sinners in his sight, even enough to allow his only begotten Son Jesus Christ to live a sinless life in our place and to shed his own precious blood on the cross, all to fully pay the price for our sins, as a freely given gift. Romans 5: 8-9+12 (KJB) 8. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." 9."Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." 12. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for all that have sinned:” Step 3. To be saved and born again for eternal life with God, you just need to confess unto God (inwardly or outwardly) genuinely to ask for your sins to be forgiven, all by accepting this freely given gift of forgiveness out of God's love for us from him, that Jesus Christ shed his blood on the cross to pay the full price for all of your sins (that is it). :) 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 (KJB) 1."Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2."By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.” 3."For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;” 4."And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:” Romans 10: 9-10+13 (KJB) 9. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” 10."For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." 13."For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Hebrews 9: 27-28 (KJB) 27."And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" 28."So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.” Revelation 21: 8 (KJB) "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Romans 6: 23 (KJB) “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Lastly here is an example of what to pray to God to get saved and forgiven of your sins if you are having trouble finding the exact words to pray to God. Although it is the genuine intent towards God that matters , more than the exact words being said. :) “Dear God, I am a sinner and need saving. I know I’m not good enough to get to heaven and I need you to save me. I need the righteousness of your son, Jesus Christ. I believe that Jesus is the Lord, who died, was buried and resurrected so that his precious blood can wash away my sins. I trust in him alone to save me. Nothing else. Not my good works or anything else. Only Jesus. I pray this in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

So if a kid is thinking about ending their time on earth, needs a real councilor who knows how to recognize and respond to this crisis, but instead meets with the school Chaplin who might just say to the child “ending your life is a sin, don’t do that.” 😳 “Is there anything else?” 😳 “Say three hail Mary’s and have a blessed day.” And me as a parent have no say on this, no clue my child was depressed, being bullied, or what they were considering… until it’s too late.

I left Christianity close to 40 years ago. Pushed out mostly by the typical American Evangelicals. I found my own spirituality that is not Christian in any way. I would happily attend this man's church. If more Christians were like this, I'd never have felt the need to leave.

Part of what turned me away from Christianity and organized religion were the mega churches. The greed. Pagentry. Self-absorbtion. The obsession with rehashing the same sermons over and over. It was all wasted apologetics. And wasted Sundays. I'm an atheist now. And Id never go back. But when church leaders ask why their youths are leaving in droves. And what they should do to get them to stay. This is the answer. Actually talk about the important things. Instead of this "God helped me find my car keys" nonsense. Pastors should not have to shoehorn in Linkedin-esque stories to keep the bible relevant.

I am an atheist, but Christianity is not evil, it’s been boiled down over millennia, transformed into a weapon to conserve the status quo instead of a tool to love thy neighbor. Now people believe that the rich can enter the kingdom of heaven even though their book clearly states otherwise.

So strange...it's almost like James got through seminary without ever reading the Bible. Even reading it at a 3rd grade level one can easily understand its call of a need for repentance. Anybody that Jesus miraculously healed or cast demons out of, he told them to sin no more. Talarico preaches a false gospel that tells you to stay stuck in sin and doesn't challenge anyone to repent. No wonder atheists, Satanists, lapsed Christians and similar rejoice over James' ear tickling words. Shame on him and shame on you! You're too stupid in your sin to see that Talarico is the one that is in power and seeks more of it. With so many easy to manipulate idiots, it is easy work for him.

Life is not about repentance, it’s about loving. God loves you and wants you to love your neighbor as you do Him. He will forgive your sins, but YOU are not the judge of others. Your hate is what tears us apart and Mr. Talarico’s love is what brings all these beautiful people together. Just think about that before you spit more of your vile.

My religious or non-religious view isn’t important. There would be a lot less hate in the world, and dislike for Christianity among those who are not, if this was the kind of message it were infamous for. Sadly, the sku-reaming a-ministah asking their flock for money and preaching fear and loathing is how it is represented. I listened to the whole sermon, something I have never done in my entire life, and I thought it was great. Love and acceptance and care for each other is so much more powerful than political muscle, and powerful in the right way. Look after each other, people, and reject hatred in all its forms.

This made me bawl like a baby. I’ve lost a large part of my faith after my dad died and in the extremism, exclusion and judgment that Christian nationalism has shown; especially, in the past years. That movement stands behind God, and uses him as an overused catchphrase. Your speech was one of the best things I’ve heard. So wise. So inspiring. Exactly what I needed to hear. That is my God, the one you’ve described and I feel like he’s been hijacked by the Christian nationalists for way too long. Thank you so much for your PERFECT speech. Really. Not one thing could have been better. Ministry is truly your calling.

If something is true it was ever true and will be ever true. White supremacy and white nationalism at its core is a theological system that is at war with God for supremacy. Bringing the history of the Scot and Irish immigrants into the “race” construct gives the lie to the idea that race is a black versus white construct. Racism, like poverty, is a policy decision based on the laws at whatever time we find ourselves in. Freedoms determined by those policies are already not free because they are biased against some segments of humanity. All of creation including humans are simply a part of the Oneness. Any interpretation of any theological system that benefits only the individual(s) rather than all peoples (and by extension all of creation) is therefore a lie/not true and is at war with God for Supremacy.

Western civilisation is built on Judeo-Christian values. Judeo-Christian values are built on the Bible. The Bible is built upon recorded examples of God's inspiration to flawed people. God's inspiration to flawed people began with documenting of the 10 Commandments to which Jesus said we must 1st Love God, and 2nd Love our neighbour. James Talarico, either out of ignorance or nefariousness, runs perilously close to being a false prophet. As someone whose job it is to understand the important of the Rule of Law, I think his argument is flawed. I pray he reconsider the importance the 10 Commandments represent to a civilised society and the respect they deserve by being made prominent in public.
