@@izefkein5115 мы добились установления просовесткого правительства, которое существовала вплоть после развала СССР и пытались активно бороться с талибами, оттуда и потерь за меньший срок больше, когда американцы просто выставили гарнизоны и стояли в позиционке.

Эта песня про советские войска. Америкосы (прихвостни крупной буржуазии) тут не причём вообще. Цель нахождения в Афгане тех и других были весьма различные!!! Сколько США и их прихлебатели из НАТО построили школ, жилых зданий, промышленных предприятий, плотин, тоннелей в Афганистане? Амеры влезли туда чтобы создать проблемы не только самому Афганистану, но и соседним странам, а бен ладен -это лишь предлог был.

USSR never invaded afghanistan. SOVIET UNION was Afghanistan's top ally. Russia helped us a lot in many sectors. Russia and USSR Republics were helping the then Government of Afghanistan punishing the same terrorists funded by America.

Yeah but that’s just for the governments friendship. Damn so have you ever self-questioned about the Afghan people about their attitude towards to the acted of USSR? Why there were so many Mujahideen against Soviet? Terrorists or Afghan people willed to be ‘them’? “Never invaded” then so why many nations of UN condemned the Soviet “help” Afghanistan?

My Uncle was drafted to Afghanistan in 1982 and he was in the 40th army in their tank dvision and from what I remembered he was a good man and had a good heart and was a vary caring and loving man, when he came back he had bad PTSD and survivors guilt because he lost his friends there and he was awared the Afghanistan campaign medal, i still have his tank helmet and his uniform and medal, he sadly hung himself after his girlfriend passed away from cancer..I was 4 years old when he committed suicide, I love you uncle I hope you found peace with yourself...

My uncle in law did several years near Herat in the latter half of the war as an artilleryman. Also made it back with bad PTSD - he had a bad flashback when he came to the US to visit the Grand Canyon decades later. While he was definitely abrasive during my childhood, the one constant - especially as I grew older - was his fear that the US would start conscripting people like me to head off there. I knew at his core he cared about not having me follow in his footsteps. Виват шурави. May all who gave their lives for a freer and farer Afghanistan find peace. Пусть дядя ваш спокойно спит.
