My mom dragged me to see this in the theater back in 1980. I didn’t want to see it. When it was over, I wanted her to take me to see it again!! Such an amazing movie and story of a true legend.

When I first saw Sissy in this movie, I knew I had to find me a country girl just like her, and I DID. Wouldn't trade her for anything. 28 yrs now and still loving her to death!

Can’t you see that’s what I was doing? Have you ever tried to get help fora raccoon? Help is limited and rescues are full. It takes time to find help. He got to a rescue.

Sissy was so great as Loretta Lynn, what a great actress and singer. I recently read that Sissy sings much like the late Suzanna Clark & she sang Suzanna’s part in an illustrated film, not sure what film, but I’m hunting it down, just got 1 degree closer!
