You use the silver round knob that is above the center arm rest. Simply turn it left or right for eco or sport, then push it in to go back to normal.

@@lorialexander7133 try pushing the "page button" on the steering wheel. You should be able to do it in this menu, just scroll down until you see the drive modes. It's was different in different cars that year!

Hi, great video! Question: I own a 2015 RX 350 and remote start has never worked? Is there a vehicle setting to initiate this? When I open vehicle settings on dash the customization button is not lit so I can not enter it? How do I gain access?

Hi! Here's a video I have on how the remote start works. If it doesn't do what this video does, then it is not turned on. 2015 and later, remote start is part of the "Lexus Enform" package. You may have to sign up for the service- then you can also start it with an app on your phone. But, try this with your key fob to quickly see if you have it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5jZn4yqbsSSgq8

Yes, but in 2021 it is a "kick sensor" where you put you foot kind of under the car. ...but they also come without this feature, but f-sports are mostly loaded, so you may have it. It would list it specifically on the window sticker....or just try and kick your car! lol :)

You can order one online, but make sure it is from the manufacturer. If you have any doubt, just call a lexus dealership and order one through them. (the after market ones do not work.)

Is the map disc from Lexus? I have seen many times that the aftermarket ones don't work. Or- is it possible they had a problem with their speakers before the swap? If the speakers are still going in and out with just the radio on, or cd player, then it doesn't have anything to do with the nav disc. If it is only doing it with the nav voice, then maybe there is a loose connection behind the nav "dvd player" in the back where. you change the disc?

Hi I have a little problem with my lexus rx450 h 2015.. The nav display was set to show the bluetooth contact with my phone range, battery and date and month. It was an information bar at the top of the display. This bar for inexplicable reasons is no longer displayed.. Please advise me how to fix these settings. thanks

I watched the whole video trying to find out what the little slot is on the console next to the shifter? and why do the sun visors have slots in them?

Lol, those are very rare questions! The little slot next to the shifter is called the "shift lock override" You use your key to pop that little piece off, then stick your key in- if the shifter every got locked and wouldn't shift into another gear, this unlocks it and lets you move it. Fun Fact- I have never ever heard of this happening and/or met someone who ever used it! :) The little slots in the sun visors?- it's not a very exciting answer.....it's just for business cards or pieces of paper. :)

I just bought a 2015 Lexus LS 460 and I don't see any feature for remote start and this step didn't work either, that's sad a long time ago I had a 2005 Cadillac STS that had remote start as standard

You can get remote start for your LS through the Lexus Enform app. It's a subscription service. You pay for it yearly. Once you sign up for it, you will be able to remote start with your app, or you can use the key fob. The car in this video was before remote start was part of Lexus Enform.

@genevieveriehl9472 I just downloaded the app entered all the info and when I finished I got a msg saying that 3g services had been discontinued therefore the app is no longer in use . I signed up anyway and there's no section for remote start or even to pay for anything .. so I think that Lexus app is no longer good ..but thanks for your help

Genevieve, I'm curious about the "regular fuel" comment. I currently have a 2001 RX300 and it takes regular fuel. Did they change the type of fuel in different versions, i.e. premium? Thanks.

Yes, I think it was the redesign for the RX 330. It was premium fuel ever since then, until 2013.

It should work the same, but your set up may look at little different- find your "menu" button, then select "voice", and adjust the settings how you like. :)

You just have to put a new one over it. That's the easiest way. Just make sure the new # is in your favorites, then click the quick dial name you want to change, and it will take you to your favorites menu, and select someone else. I haven't found a way to actually delete it other than unpairing your phone and "delete all personal data" and start over from scratch, which is not ideal.

This was very useful. However, after I dis- and then reconnected my auxiliary battery for a different problem I now have “please insert correct map disc”. Everything worked fine before. I have reinserted my west Europe disc (2010 version). But no dice. Now I have no menu at all. What might the problem be do you think. After I reconnected the auxiliary battery there was a lot of clunking and whirring from the nav player. I could hear it going from the front seat. 😢

You may need to reset to nav/audio system. Usually when you disconnect the battery you have to reinitialize the windows and moon roof, etc... So maybe that happened to the audio system? You do it this way: Press and hold down the audio system power knob or power/volume knob for at least 7 seconds. Or, maybe when you reconnected it blew the fuse? The fuses for this are in the glove box. I have seen people take them out and put them back in, and things worked- or maybe they need to be replaced. Or, did you by chance hook the battery up incorrectly at first- and maybe the system got fried? I wouldn't think it you would still see the message on the screen if that were the case though. Let me know if any of this worked!

No, but that is another setting you can set to lock or unlock. What year and model do you have?

You have to take it to the dealership for a new upload. Your RX has a hard drive in it- not a disc.

Recently changed the battery in my keyfob and somehow the setting was switched to the 4 door mode… it gets annoying hearing all those beeps. I thought maybe something was wrong with the car or an electrical signal bugging out… this fixed my “issue” THANK YOU SO MUCH 😊
