Eco mode means your not speeding around school zone, 20 mph at 8 am tru 2 pm, think about that, you are once a student right ?

Yes, it would be good to use in a school zone. But eco mode actually changes how the car accelerates (slows it down) so you get better gas mileage. It won't keep you from speeding.
