I know it's not MVP technically, but made by MVP. Eternal Lasso by Mint is my go-to throwing putter. Probably between an Envy and a Tempo, just more reliable than my Envy for flex shots, with more "putt" distance than "approach" distance (Zone, Tempo, Stabilizer...). I've never thrown a Nomad, so might be similar in flight, definitely not in feel.

i keep a PA3 in 400 for a stable putter shot and a few in varying stabilities in the 300 plastic

I putt with Electron Envies too, they're awesome. Older Octanes are great too, a lot of dome.

Throw the entropy its much better for that slot i feel like. Tempo was out but did the exact thing you were saying it does for myself.

I think the reason that MVP fans throw less base plastic in general is because it's just so much less durable than other base plastics. It beats in too fast and tacos very easily.

Captain is true to its numbers (Raider+Sheriff+Captain is a great combo for distance drivers... guess that what DD stands for :P ), great just leaving the beginner stage, 13,5,-2,2, headwind hyzerflip, goes pretty far, don't like how it feels in the forhand, but my forhand don't need speed yet xD

I do throw my old soft c3 putting nomad sometimes and it is great but warps easy and the bead Chips easy where a prime judge is super durable but flips over. Glow envy is my go-to and stock luna for turnover if i cant 4hand

I love the mvp putter lineup. For throwing putters you might as well go premium for the price so they last longer. It’s not saving you enough money to throw electron putters and have to cycle them.

If you can get ahold of the Fission Watt from the 3 disc challenge i would, I really enjoy mine.

Growing up in michigan MVP has been huge since i started. Tbh nobody missed much with those early OOP molds. I have one of the old “understable” fairway drivers and after a decade that thing is still way over stable like all the other drivers from that era

It really is a shame that the R2 plastic is black (i mean duh ofcourse it is). It's probably my favourite type of plastic, the R2 ecplises seem to slap so hard in every mold.

MVP was dedicated to only vendor resale until 2017. (I think that was when they started the Pro Shop on their Website) I believe that is a huge reason why they did not get the recognition that they deserved. Some vendors were angry when they made that switch. But I feel today, that switch has been profitable for all parties.

Response to the Soft Proton Ion comment: Originally, it was only available in the Eclipse Plastic. "Patent Pending" with the glow rims. I'm lucky to still have a few. I am generous and have given and sold 3 after I realized the lust after them. I was in PT DG resales around that time, so I know that I sold a stack to some lucky folks.

The only other putter that i'd say could be in contention for bagging is the pilot. Just a bit straighter than a nomad, feels about the same. The Nomad may be the most slept on throwing putter imo though. I've bagged a baseline one on and off for a while and its great. Beats in to a perfect mellow slow drifting thrower.

Electron firm Envy that’s been nice and seasoned is my favorite approach* disc in my bag. Such a great controlled approach disc when it’s nice and seasoned.

Also edit I think most people like the entropy in zone slot but I’ve never thrown it.

I know you have a Volt now for that slot thats a slightly more stable than your beat up Tesla but just wanted you to know that if you want to mold minimalize then recent proton Teslas are money and would definitely compliment your beat up one really well.

The envy is a super underrated putter. I switched to proxy’s for the added glide and straightness, but if you want to have a reliable, overstable putter, they are great. I also like a little shallower putters, so the envy and proxy were just defaulted to a shorter list of usable putters for me.

love seeing the diverse selection you have. MVP/Axiom/Streamline definitely has an insane level of putter/mid game going on especially once you tally in the fission to electron to plasma to neutron to proton to eclipse plastics. Each difference of stability kind of makes you feel like you need one of each. I feel that out of all of the manufacturers (excepting maybe discmania and discraft) it feels like only mvp is the one putting out so much diversity in a single disc. Like the Envy, and compelling the buyer to purchase at LEAST 1 of each just to "have it".

anything you can do with an envy, you can do better with a proxy....this guy gets it
