I love the 24’ Sexton firebirds bought five of them lol Really nice flight with a predictable finish. I use a Eric Oakley 21’ color shift glimmer plastic felon when I need something more overstable that I know will fight out of anny forehand.

The only firebirds I like are older run champion max weight. Absolute meat cleaver. A new star firebird flys almost identical to an eagle x. After I lost my beef cake, I switched to the Uli raptor. Beefy

Try a Infinite Discs Scepter! It’s the Firebird mold that goes through a flattening process after. FAF Firebirds just renamed and cheaper!

I've been bagging Sextons for a couple years and my favorite run is 2021. The 2023 (and I assume 2024) halo-champ plastic is MUCH more stable. Haven't picked up a 2024 but when I felt the box of them at Worlds the hand feel was honestly pretty bad, none of that tacky / slight gumminess that makes me like the old stuff.

Man that PFN Star Bird has been out for a long time and thrown, no? Let the Sexton break in for a while. But the cheat code IMO is the 21 Sextons (a lot still available) or Draco’s. They push right out of the box. The halos are always gonna be beefier. That’s why I bag a ‘23 and and a broken in ‘21. Best 1-2 combo.

They did the same with the barsby tour series eagles. They used to be glow star and they were absolutely amazing then 2023 they changed to halo star and now they are super deep beef cakes with no glide. So sad

When you talk about how there are certain runs of a certain disc that you like… that’s my issue with innova and discraft to some extent and why I like MVP. And no, I’m not a Simon convert, been trying not to die on this hill for nearly a decade. They are just more consistent run to run. Period.
