Been to Pino Latte Cafe before covid and boy it was good. Love their shakes & tea. However had severe vomit and stomach pain after drinking and eating cakes there. Worst experience when I reached Phu Thap Berk.

No and yes.. tourist prices have gone up Hard..mainly becase of the chinese and korean tourists that really pay anything ppl say to them ..and the seedy bar and ladyprices seems to exploded to insane prices according to friends who like that... My favorite food lady here in Sutthisan area / Bangkok has risen the prices 10 baht in 2 years so now it cost 70 baht . i haven't seen any extreme price gauges for a local normal life here just smaller normal price raises 555

Thanks for posting! My first duty station when I was still a teenager from about 9/93 to 11/94. I was a fuel handler with the 3-5 platoon from the 4th of the 501st. You can see one of our fuel HMETTs parked near the hanger as you're showing the barracks. We would use that for a rotating on-call duty to refuel returning aircraft at all hours of the night.

Oh man this brings back memories. Got there in 93 left when the cobras left. Remember both of you. Was in Armt shop

I was born at Camp Page in 1970. I was the biological son of an enlisted US Army soldier and a half Korean woman who was herself a product of the earlier Korean War. I was adopted by the then commander (Captain, O-3) of the signal company at Camp Page (KH-47). I cannot remember if it was the 222nd Signal Company? My first memory is begging french fries off GI's. I'm in my 50's now and live in Maryland. I would give much to find my biological mother, but have no clue as to how to start something like that. My bio mom might not even be alive anymore. I am grateful to the Army for fighting for me and my adoptive father so that I could be raised in America. Is there anyone out there who served at Camp Page circa 1970? I would be so grateful for ANY information.

Was there in 71-72 with the Honest John. We called the hill Mount Useless. Alot of Americans lost their life on that hill, Then the Generals decided we didn't need the hill anymore. so, it. was abandoned. Hence Mount Useless.

"Unnecessary Mountain", and those barracks were still there in 2002. I climbed the top of that water tower, which I believe is all that is left of the camp today. Good times at Page. A Co 602 ASB!
