Lots of great dances in the Fieldtown tradition. Someone ought to reform the Fieldtown side.

This is a popular dance. Many morris teams sing and dance this over the world. Take each one as a tribute to your own sweet Jenny Jones.

'Tis all a matter of opinion, but in mine this shows why Cotswold shouldn't be danced in kilts. It would get worse doing other traditions with slows, galleys, hooks etc. For what it's worth, I speak as one who has danced Cotswold with several sides, and worn a kilt both for country dancing and Border Morris.

It never ceases to amaze that people walk past fun like this, staring straight ahead, and seemingly impervious to the entertainment. They sometimes look as though they're afraid it might be catching ;)

Dear friends, we're very happy to present you our International Festival of Folklore. Our festival is devoted to tradionnal folk dances and music. It's not a competition. This festival is organized in beginning of july every year until 1965 by the folk dance group Roudelet Felibren of Château Gombert, Marseille FRANCE. Each year we receive 6 or 7 groups from different parts of the world. We'd like to receive that summer a morris men group which was only represent 1 time, so many years ago. If you're interested to participate, contact us : [email protected] Hoping to read you very soon, warm greetings, facebook.com/pages/FESTIVAL-INTERNATIONAL-DE-FOLKLORE-DE-CHATEAU-GOMBERT/72271006210 Emmanuelle Alliès Relations internationales Direction artistique Festival international de Folklore de Château Gombert - Roudelet Felibren Centre de culture provençale Daniel Audry 45 bd Bara - 13013 Marseille - FRANCE [email protected]
