proper heat shielding (manifold, dump, turbine housing, feed/drain/gate/waterlines), ECU protections setup for oil pressure, fuel pressure, AFR, oil temp. A good oil cooler and ensure the vehicles undertrays are installed so air flows through the radiator and not around it.

yes, you see it quite a bit on older 2zz's with poor service history. Make sure the oil spray tube built into the cam cover is clear and replace the o-ring on it when you have the cover off to ensure the sprayers can function 100%. Inspect the valve clearance while it's apart, reshimming is time consuming if it's out of spec

@@DimoS... I've not had to reshim any of my motors due to wear. Check your clearances when you have the covers off and if they're out of spec, then address it.

that's a built 9:1 compression motor. Ran at a max of 300whp on the stock motor with E85

347hp atw in that video, it went on to make 414whp at 30psi before the setup was removed to go turbo
