I can obviously see that anything I objectify is not me and the only thing I know for certain is that I Am. However, this does not bring any kind of peace or happiness. It just reinforces the knowledge that whatever I am, which is completely unknowable is at the complete mercy of whatever random experience that is being thrown at me. Be it pleasant or unpleasant. Just constant uncontrollable change. I can't see how to be ok with this.

you are at the very beginning of clarity and understanding. keep on going. Be a witness to whatever comes: the object - the experience - and the being that has the experience. the intellectual understanding will down on you when the right time comes. 🙏😇

Suffered with ocd all my life. There is so much wisdom in this. It totally resonates. I've coped with meds and had therapy but ultimately I have just had to let some of it be. Not judge. Not tell people how many hours I've been checking or worrying. Then do some distracting nice things like discovering my musical gifts of singing. Then the compulsions are not that strong. Psychiatrists and psychologists should listen to Rupert. But I guess economics comes into it cos all these things take time and society wants us to work for money.

There is nothing and no one outside ones imagination. Every thing ever one only exists in your imaginary ideas . There is no reality,there are no realities ,only experiences. According to shri Ramana Maharishi. This is the final truth

In fact “Self Inquire” is a devise to help us to remember our real nature. But I am sure that even Ramana Maharshi would accept any other device that would help us tje mains go to the “remembering state” ñ

I understand a lot of this, but don't see how Awareness can say yes to everything. It says yes to rape, murder, child abuse, war, tyranny? How does Awareness know what's happening in a room? Is the empty space in the room sentient? Can it feel or think?
@arunagreen81193 ай бұрын
Yes I wondered this too. But does it have to say yes or no to anything to cope with it? Awareness doesn't have am opinion I guess? I'm struggling with knee pain at the moment. Get very down about it. I'm managing it now and enjoying some things now. But gosh I could do without it!

My name is Arips Trepur, and I'm a true tibetan master. This man, Rupert Spira, is a false reflexion of me and his teaching is my inverted teaching from the other side of the mirror. So be careful if you follows him because your mind will turn into tomato soup or kind of unknown pokemon.

The Poem for your Journal. So beautiful. ❤ I am the heart of the heart I am the voice of a child I am wonder, astonishment and delight I live in the space between thoughts but I play in your thinking My abode is the moment between breaths but I dance in your breathing Time and space move through me but i do not move through them I am never experienced yet you experience only me I never repeat myself But I am always the same I have no goal but am the fulfillment of every desire I have no feeling but I’m open to all feelings I have no thoughts but all thoughts are an image of me I’m kindness itself I am imperturbable and am thus peace itself I am without resistance and am thus happiness itself I am one with all seeming things and thus love itself I shine in the mind as I I shine in the heart as you I shine in the world as it But I only ever am and know myself alone I forget myself to taste the sweetness of longing I divide myself to know the tenderness of friendship I hid myself for the pleasure of seeking I look for myself for the fulfillment of finding I find myself for the knowledge of happiness I know myself for the joy of being I am myself for no other reason I am closer than your breath I am further than the stars I am intimate but impersonal I am peaceful like the sky I am open like the sea I am empty like space I am luminous like the sun I shine by myself I am the substance and reality of all seeming objects and selves I am the light of pure knowing Turn towards me and I will take you into myself I play I enjoy I am -Rupert Spira

Rupert helps me so much! More I allow myself to be an open space and don´t resist, easier life gets. And happiness comes. I have a tendency to be addicted with food (especially sugar) since I was a kid. What also helps me is following a healthy diet and fasting. 48 hours fasting is a great remedy when I see I am starting to lose myself, which still happens when I do some travel and get out of my routine

To anyone needing/seeking help, please do as sometimes things are beyond our own scope. I've had an addiction from when i was 16 (I'm now 36). Got rid of it this year and found out it was from a childhood trauma which i didn't even realize! I think in essence all addictions come from a point where we don't accept ourselves the way we are. So please do seek professional help and don't throw your life away!
@UmmmOkayThen8 ай бұрын
What kind of therapy is best for childhood trauma? I definitely have a lot of trauma from my childhood and it affects me deeply because I taught myself unconsciously to feel unloved, resent myself and feel unsafe. It is all self-protection. Now, as am adult I am trying to love myself, create safety in my body and face fear/anxiety/negativity with an open awareness and heart. I am so happy to hear you got the help you always needed. Much love to you!

TLDR: Exploring the nature of awareness through relaxation and facing outward can lead to a greater understanding of our true nature. 1. 00:00 🧘 Relaxing attention into its source and facing outward to live the implications of newfound understanding are two aspects of investigating the nature of the experience of being aware. 1.1 Making effort to focus the mind on an object is necessary to recognize our true nature. 1.2 In this approach, meditation is about understanding the nature of the one that experiences, rather than controlling or focusing the mind. 1.3 Relaxing attention into its source and facing outward to live the implications of newfound understanding are two aspects of investigating the nature of the experience of being aware. 2. 04:23 🤔 Face any discomfort you feel instead of avoiding it, but if you're enjoying an activity, carry on. 2.1 Put down the book or turn off the movie, close your eyes and face the feeling of lack instead of avoiding it. 2.2 Face any discomfort you feel instead of avoiding it, but if you're enjoying an activity, carry on. 3. 06:52 🧘♂ Sahaja yoga is the practice of recognizing awareness as the constant reality of our experience. 3.1 Awareness is equally available in all experiences and cannot be distracted from. 3.2 Sahaja yoga is the presence of awareness in the presence of objects, where objects can no longer distract from oneself. 3.3 Awareness is the constant reality of our experience, and meditation is not an activity we do with our mind, but the very nature of our experience. 4. 10:35 🤔 Perception is awareness, and one can become lost in the experience, but still see the screen clearly in the third state. 4.1 Awareness and the mind are inseparable, with awareness being the knowing element of the mind's experience. 4.2 Perception is simply consciousness or awareness, and the knowing element of it is always present in the perception itself. 4.3 When watching a movie, one can become lost in the experience, only focusing on the movie and not the screen. 4.4 In the first state we watch the movie, in the second we turn it off to see the screen clearly, and in the third state we turn the movie back on but still see the screen. 5. 16:02 🧘 Experience the present by being aware of awareness and its objects as one experience. 5.1 Close your eyes, focus on being aware, and then open them again while still being aware of being aware to experience the present. 5.2 Awareness and its objects are one experience, allowing attention to range freely over it without losing sight of the knowing in every experience. 5.3 Experience is seen as a coloring of consciousness, with no distinction between self and experience. 6. 20:20 🧘♂ Remember your true nature and let it become second nature. 6.1 Use whatever means necessary to remind yourself of your true nature and keep going back to it until it becomes second nature. 6.2 Moments of remembering our true nature punctuate our normal state, and eventually these moments of remembering squeeze out the moments of forgetting. 6.3 Forgetting is natural and not a problem, as long as remembrance gradually takes over your life. 7. 24:15 🧘♂ Find your true nature by exploring different pathways and look for peace and fulfillment in your everyday life. 7.1 You can find your ever-present essence by looking deeply within yourself, and there are many pathways to do this. 7.2 Don't expect the same physical or mental side effects each time you recognize your true nature. 7.3 Look for peace and fulfillment in your everyday life to determine if you're on the right track. 8. 28:50 🤩 Experience the reality of all objects and selves in the moment between thoughts and breaths. 8.1 I exist in the moment between thoughts and breaths, never experienced. 8.2 I am the substance and reality of all seeming objects and selves, playing and enjoying, and inviting you to join me.
