@@gracewelch816 right!!!! This was exactly my thought when I designed them!! They’re not EXACTLY the same, but if you scroll to the first eye video on here, that one is very similar to the cockatoo eye 🤩

@@stitchaspellMilan thanks for following along!!!! The second eye is exactly the same but you switch up the coloured stitches, so you would do dark, the medium then light. The white glint stays in the same spot for both eyes 😉💜🤩 hope that helps!!!

I also experienced the similar sizing in end products too! I made a few cows in Patti's Plush and then made one in Zaddy's Craft and I was expecting the later to be bigger but they were the same! Such amazing yarns!

I love this eye! So unusual! How can you scale down on this for a smaller eye that is maybe half that size? Can you make a tutorial on that? Just LOVE your videos. Never thought about using bobby pins for stitch markers or to hold the eye in place for stitching! Thanks so much for the tutorial!

@@ginanewlin9923 I’m so glad youve found it helpful!!!! To make a smaller eye, you just need to use a smaller weight yarn and smaller hook! I’ve even made teeny eyes with embroidery floss and a 1.5mm hook before! It’s fiddly but SUUUUUPER cute!!!
