Jason, how do you buy a plane ticket without a credit card?

Just use your debit card. I've done it dozens of times, it's no problem from my experience.

Your experience alone is not enough to debunk the myth of not being able to rent a car. Just last month I had to cancel half of my vacation. I flew a few states down south, planning to rent a car to drive one way back up. But the day before my reservation they called to tell me I would need a credit card for a deposit. There was no way around it, I even called the other car rental places in the area and they still required at least a credit score. I ended up having to pay over $500 for a last minute plane ticket back home and a ride to the airport at 4 AM. What am I supposed to do in that scenario?

I advised people to have a completely separate savings account, have a debit card for that savings account, and use it to pay all your bills. Do not pay your bills or use your debit card from your primary checking account. This measure is prevent fraud!

What about needing a credit card to rent an apartment? I am searching for an apartment right now and every place I look at does a credit check. I currently don't have any credit cards but I think I'm going to have to get one again in order to rent an apartment. If you can help me know of another way I would welcome the help!
@jasoncabler2 жыл бұрын
In most circumstances you don't need a credit score to rent an apartment or house. Just explain to them that you don't use credit cards, so your credit score is not a good reflection of your financial situation. Most landlords would rather see a good record of paying rent from your previous landlord. If they know you've been faithful at paying your rent on time every month, most won't care what your credit score is.

Yeah, it's a little weird at first. But once you get used to using cash/checks/debit cards it's not much different. Of course, in the end it's much better because you're only spending money you have, you owe no one, and you have no monthly payments with interest weighing you down.

🕊💜🕊💜🕊💜🕊💜🕊💜🕊💜 🕎Most Jewish people are taught that Jesus is only for Gentiles.🕎 This sentiment isn’t surprising. Growing up, a lot of Jewish people are taught that Jesus is only for Gentiles. Moreover, if a Jewish person decides to follow Jesus, the Jewish community considers them converts to Christianity. At one point in history, such people were considered apostates-lost to the Jewish community, or even to their own families. For a Jewish person to consider faith in Jesus, he or she must consider the social stigma they will face from friends, family, and the larger Jewish community. Would a rabbi ever agree to marry them? Would they ever be allowed to make aliyah? Would they be prohibited from joining a synagogue? These are the implications many Jewish people face when considering Jesus. Jewish followers of Jesus acknowledge the cultural obstacles and painful historical facts surrounding his identity, but there are still many reasons that drive them to believe that he is the Messiah. First and foremost, most people who come to follow Jesus, Jewish or not, have a personal encounter with God that changes their lives. As a result, Jewish people who have this experience can’t help but passionately embrace both their faith and their heritage. Until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or serif shall ever pass away from the Torah. Recognize that Jesus was born to Jewish parents, was raised in a Jewish home in Israel, observed the Torah, and taught the nation of Israel as a rabbi. His teachings were not an attack on Judaism, but rather an authoritative, intelligent interpretation of the Torah and a critique of a religious system that was corrupt during his day: “Do not think that I came to abolish the Torah or the Prophets! I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill … until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or serif shall ever pass away from the Torah … whoever keeps and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:17-19). 🕎Following Jesus's teachings is a continuation of the Jewish faith, not an abandonment of it.🕎

Hey Lashanda- paying off debt and saving starts with learning good money management. I remember years ago, before Angie and I started developing solid money habits, it was tough to save and we never seemed to put a dent in our debt. But once we dedicated ourselves to learning how to manage our money well, then we started making incredible progress! Fast forward a dozen years and we have now paid cash for 6 vehicles, a wedding, 12 years of college, every vacation, and have put money in the bank. It's all because we finally decided to get serious. "The Divine Art of Money..." course shows you the things we did to succeed. It's all very doable for anyone, you just have to be wiling to put in the work.

Those are great goals to have, Stephen! It can be a long road to reach those goals, but it starts with learning to get total control over your money. It took Angie and I years before we committed to creating real financial discipline in our lives. But once we did, it's been all uphill ever since! This is what my new "Divine Art of Money..." course does. You learn how to make every dollar work for you instead of wondering where it all went... It's the exact process we used to make it happen.

How can I find rent a place for me and my wife tho.. I don't have a regular job or a way to prove a regular salary and my bank records aren't impressive to renters. I never wanted to deal with credit card companies because I felt like they prey upon people and have evil intentions. I really don't want to compromise my values and submit to these companies and subject myself to legal extortion to them. I need to find a place to live for me and my wife. The lady renting to us now is stressing us out and we are working on her property and paying high rent to live under her surveillance and thumb. We're in Myakka Florida and most folks here come from old money and own businesses. I run a moving business but I am working super hard and the stress on me and my wife seems never ending. I was taking care of my mom and when I have been extorted by the government to bring my wife to the U.S.. She and I have had enough stress in our lifetime and now were praying for a new day and for us to have a family and for our kids to wake up feeling safe and secure.

One of the things a landlord really likes to see is a previous record of on-time rent payments. So if you have been faithful at paying your previous landlords, you likely won't have a problem. Maybe not every landlord will accept only that info, but most will. You should also keep detailed records of your paychecks, and maybe even think about providing a tax return to prove your income if needed. The more information you have, the better. If you are not keeping detailed pay records in your business, now is the time to start.

i researched what the tithe was. We today just translate the tithe to mean only money as thats the common currency of transactions. But we also believe that God never changes. The tithe referred to in the old testament so often quoted was an agricultural tithe where the offering could be gold and silver etc. I think its dangerous to ask of people or lead them to believe tithing only "money" will bring God's blessing. To me thats adding to his word which is strictly forbidden though many do. If i have 10 chickens laying eggs and want to give away some , i dont personally believe a tenth would have to be converted to cash and give just cash. Heres a guy i found that explains it better than im doing. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZrLpZVujaqWipY Dont discount this video just because hes a Saturday church guy. Most people don't unnderstand or even try to understand what is going on with Messianic Christians. Hes not telling you to do anything just explaining what the tith is for before you sit down and write a check for more than you can really afford just because you think or have been told you have too .
@jasoncabler4 жыл бұрын
That's right, it's not only about money, although that's what most tend to focus on because that's the primary way most of us receive compensation. I've heard the tithe described as 10% of your gain or increase, which could apply to almost anything.
