The video is not directed at the big banks. Obviously they can be real slimeballs when dealing with their mortgage customers. The intent of the video is to show the spiritual implications of walking away from a mortgage just because your house went down in value. Walking away from a mortgage you can't pay is a whole different subject for a different video. So is how these banks treat people.
