I like the way you add a wash of blue in many of your images using a blue led light. I have plain diffusers for each of my lights and wondering if buying a blue diffuser would be similar to buying a blue led light. Also, do you get credit for directing me to their site?

Have had Adaptalux lights for a couple of years now. I have (4) white and (4) UV. One use is a lightproof box (30” x 30”) built to shoot comparison images using two white lights and three UV lights in the control pod. A tether cable let’s me focus and fire the camera while the phone app let’s me manage and switch between the lights, all viewable on a connected laptop. It’s remarkable how a very plain flower can become spectacular in UV light. Highly recommend their lighting system.

I prefer natural. But in some cases artificial light can add drama or make a bad lighted composition look good.

It's not the lighting that creates an artificially looking image, it's the added fake or false color. Artificial light enhances the beauty of a Mushroom for sure. Artificial color changes what's real to something untrue. Sure, the image is still art but would you add those false colors to a Landscape image? Maybe 'you' would as I look at your glasses (humor). Oh, since we are on the subject of lighting, the Adaptalux Lighting system isn't cheap but it is great. Much (not all) of what you've done can also be managed in Photoshop. Stacking Mushrooms along with exposure bracketing captures all the details and Luminosity masking can manage the lighting enhancements.
