Hi and thanks for a great video. I wonder if you can help or any commenters'. My friend has bought a boat sold as seen. He got a mile down the canal and the engine appeared to be running rough. No come back from seller. Bottom line is when starting it will only fire on one cylinder. When the decompression lever is closed on second cylinder it stalls the engine. Someone suggested hydraulic lock? Somebody else suggested compression lock? That being possibly caused by misaligned replacement of this compression release arm? He doesn't have much cash for a mechanic at the moment so were seeing what we can sort ourselves. I have advised him against navigating with one cylinder to prevent damage to the engine. Its is a 2 cylinder ST2, electric and hand start. Any clues to what is causing this, or could it be as simple as correcting the alignment of the decompression lever? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. 😊
