Electric Callboy were so good at Graspop! Sadly didn’t cross over as they were on different days. Can confirm from meeting them a few times, they are chill, funny, very down-to-earth guys By the way, RATATATA is mimicking the sound of a machine gun - it goes with the „my body is a weapon“ line. Would be happy to watch more EC reactions with you. Maybe check out Pump It next for more of this vibe? Or Parasite to see their serious (and still seriously high energy!) side.

Good reaction (but you were missing out on views by not putting BABYMETAL in your title - well done for putting that right - especially as this is a 50-50 collaboration and as much their song as it is Electric Callboy's). What you were saying about Electric Callboy could collaborate with anybody, that applies even more to BABYMETAL, they are so versatile they can do anything. They have about 70 songs and each song is different to the last, some are straight hard metal (and they have songs in virtually every metal style) some lean towards their pop roots and they do everything in between while also mixing and blending so many more musical styles and genres with the metal. BABYMETAL have collaborated with many artists as well as EC - Joakim Broden from Sabaton is guest vocalist on one song, Tim Henson and Scott LePage the guitarists from Polyphia on another, Alyssa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy, F Hero a rapper from Thailand, Herman Li and Sam Totman from DragonForce and there are more. They even played 'Painkiller' and 'Breaking The Law' with Rob Halford from Judas Priest. This collaboration came about because BABYMETAL like to mix things up and they were wanting to make a song in the Electric Callboy style that everybody could dance along with, but they felt something was missing. They decided they would ask EC if they wanted to get involved, so as they were both playing in Boston BABYMETAL went to the EC concert and met up with them back stage and chatted before the show. 'RATATATA' was the result and, although it is very much in the EC style, it was a real 50-50 collaboration with a lot of back and forth between both bands and over 20 versions of the song before they all agreed this was the one. They have played it live together at least 8 times already - twice in Tokyo at the FOX_FEST events BABYMETAL arranged, hosted and headlined and in both bands' sets at Rock im Park and Rock am Ring festivals in Germany and Resurrection Fest in Spain and you can see they are all having the very best time. BABYMETAL did play GrasPop, if EC had been there they would have played together again. BABYMETAL did play their song with Tim Henson and Scott Le Page from Polyphia at GrasPop. The crowds at the different Sabaton concerts and in different countries did vary depending how many BABYMETAL fans had managed to get tickets (most of the tickets were sold the year before when the support act was going to be The Hu, but it was postponed and The Hu could not do the rearranged dates so BABYMETAL stepped in to help their friends in Sabaton out). If you go to one of BABYMETAL's own headline concerts you will be the ones getting funny looks if you are NOT jumping about and going wild ... even if you are right at the back of the venue. Also they will have a lot more space and the view of them will not be spoiled by sand bags, posts and barbed wire across the front of the stage. Here's a brief info about this amazing group: BabyMetal is a Japanese metal dance unit created in 2010 under another Jpop/Jrock group called Sakura Gakuin, they had 11 and 12 years old when started this and become independent after 2013, they created their own genre called kawaii-metal (kawaii means cute) mixing Jpop with metal sound and different subgenres along with many more rhythms. Their name is a reference to a new genre and not related to their ages or "baby" faces, is a pun intended play on words with "heavy-metal" which sounds similar to "baby-metal". They are: *SuMetal* lead vocalist, now 26. *MoaMetal* scream and dance, recently 25. *MomoMetal* scream and dance, she's 21 and is the new official member since April 1st last year. -YuiMetal- scream and dance, former member since 2018. None of them are related. After 2018 you'll see backup dancers performing along with them but none of them are official members, they don't sing, only dance, but remember that status changed last year. There's no other group like them around and teaming up with this group from Germany just elevated them even higher. If you like Jpop and edm elements then you're gonna find a lot of cool songs blended with heavy metal in their latest album "The Other One" released last year. Songs like Divine Attack - Shingeki, METALIZM, Time Wave and Light and Darkness among other great songs as well tracks and live performance from early era will make you bounce and rock with this insane group. This single reached Number 1 best selling song in the US Billboard rock/metal chart for the first time for both bands! The last weekend of May they did the live premiere of this song in Japan at FOX_FEST (a festival held by BM) just a few days after the single was released and everyone went wild with this collab, there's a live version if you don't wanna stop enjoying this song. They played this together once again at Rock Am Ring and the day before at Rock Im Park in Germany twice in the same day, one during EC show and later at BM show. Last month they finished the Europe Tour at Resurrection Fest in Spain playing this collab once again in the same stage twice, also live proshot clips are available now, Rock am Ring upload the full show from both groups. The girl in the middle is the lead singer SuMetal and she actually dances less than the other girls (MoaMetal and MomoMetal) because she sings most of the time but regardless she can dance and sing and you won't even notice she's out of breath. About this song: This was filmed in Germany and the concept of the MV is they're breaking boundaries with the genres and they don't care about corporation decisions. The "hips don't lie" is definitely a Shakira reference. The "Fu Fu" part reminds me Backstreet Boys - Everybody female backing chorus but it's also used in Japanese karaoke as well many others songs. I found funny the "push it to the limit" line is used in the Scarface's movie OST, another post disco, dance rock song with some guitar elements. The moment when they're bursting the wall could be an homage to Aerosmith x Run DMC - Walk This Way MV, symbolism of breaking the boundaries with the music genres like I already said. Also one of the singers is holding up the cable with electricity during the breakdown it could be a reference to "The Cable Guy" movie. When I heard the official audio I thought the second "Are you ready?" chorus was MomoMetal doing the backing growling but they didn't show that in the MV, although later fans spotted in the live performance, so it was her after all as well in the third chorus when singing "Everybody". There's probably more references but I'm a little bit far away from pop culture nowadays that I'm probably missing a lot more. Fun fact: EC said in a reactor comment and later at their own reaction video that they did the bursting the walls scene in one shot, there will be a bts so we're waiting for more. The crew had to put all those disco ball on the celling manually just for this song. They met each other last year when BM went to see EC live in Boston and they asked them to work together, this is a 50/50 collab song and that's why BabyMetal should be included in your title, not only that this MV was uploaded in BM official. I would suggest adding babymetal's name into the title aswell since this is as much of their song as it is a Electric Callboy song. Leaving them out of the title feels kind of disrespectful. And also having babymetal in the title could help bring more views into this video of yours:D

Great 50 50 collaboration can see both bands' influence in this song . You might not due to you not hearing much BabyMetal . Were you at the back in Belgium, the footage I saw from the European tour crowds they were going nuts apart from a few at the back . They played this song four or five times together at festivals. Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Fox Fest, Resurrection-Festival and maybe some more. And mostly in both sets, in Electric Callboys and in Baby Metal set. "Ratatata" is a machine gun sound,, because his body is a weapon. Fun fact, they put Taylor Swift on their backstage-id-card during their US-Tour and without any particular reason. Not sure what you have already done, but you can for starters react to "We got the moves" or " Pump it".

Well, they didn't know each other officially, but in fact their Managwr had Eskimo Callboy as one of his higher raten Records around 2015 and Moa had them pretty high on her wanted Collaboration List and in Boston they had a day of and acquired a few Tickets for their show. Electric Callboy made Jokes of their Manager that Babymetal might come. But there they were and after the show they were directly lead Backstage and to quote Kevin we didn't really knew what to do, they were Starstruck. For them these were girls from Japan that filled there these insane locations with huge numbers of fans. The official Subjekt was they planned a song in the Männer of we got the moves, but something didn't feel right, in reality they were looking for a Partner that would make a song with them together that did not Sound like a typical Babymetal Song. Before the day was finished their Backoffices had the contract and prepared their work. When they made the Video therecwere some problems, but nowadays they claim each other as friends.

It’s Copia, but at this point he isn’t a cardinal anymore, he was promoted to Papa Emeritus 4. The papas always change, but it’s always Tobias under the mask. They just had a theatrical release of their last tour which is half concert half lore. We find out the fate of Copia, but there is still a cliffhanger. Can’t say anything more without spoilers. My picks would be: Year Zero, Cirice, Life Eternal, Square Hammer, Dance Macabre, Rats, or Jesus He Knows Me. All of those have videos. Other favs that I don’t know about videos: Elizabeth, Mummy Dust, Pinnacle to the Pit, Respite on the Spitalfields, I Believe, Monstrance Clock, the new live version of Absolution, and the new release Future is a Foreign Land. Ghost is a very theatrical band! If ever interested here's some info. Top 10 most popular songs of Ghost is: Mary on a cross Square Hammer Dance Macabre Cirice (Grammy winner) Year Zero Rats Call me little Sunshine He is Ritual Spillways Other songs from Ghost that people tend to like is Hunters Moon (written for the reboot movie Halloween kills), From the Pinnical to the pit, Faith, Kaisarion and Mummy Dust. The song Twenties is a song fans either love or hate (it's a heavy metal riff, have political lyrics but done as a joke, it's in a style and beat of reggaeton). If want to listen to a only instrumental song from Ghost then Maisma is a good one to start with. Ghost is hard to pin down as one genre, most songs differ from each other and have many different sub genres but all do follow the retro 80s or 70s sound. Some songs are upbeat, some are slow, some are light hearted, some more cult or on the nose satanic, some are ballads, some have more pop elements to it, some are heavier and some are done as a joke that is better understood if follow the lore. The lore of Ghost is half of the fun! Tobias who is the front man plays a new character each n' every new era that comes (the characters all look and behave different). Their similarites tho are that all the characters are always a form of inverted pope and all are called Papa Emeritus but with different numbers. He started off with Papa I, then Papa II, then Papa III and is now currently Papa IV who also goes by the name Cardinal Copia. Most fans anticipate a new character coming up soon as Papa V but we'll see, a new character tend to mean that the current one dies. Tobias who plays all these characters is not only the singer but also the main creator, main songwriter, main story writer, music writer and the one who plays almost always all the instruments (except drums) on the albums. Ghost started as a one mans project by Tobias but for the concerts he have hired a lineup of musicians only for the live shows and calls them the nameless Ghouls. If want to learn some of it's lore I recommend their movie skits on youtube, just type in Ghost chapter 1 and all chapters should pop up. It can be fun, it got alot of silly humor in it. Ghost is not for everyone but if do enjoy it then welcome!

The song, Spillways, is recorded in ABBA's old studio, Polar studios in Stockholm. Good ears there! 😁 Cardinal Copia became Papa Emeritus IV. Now he has resigned and will be replaced by Papa Emeritus V. They have so many good songs but I would recommend Ritual or Year Zero as your next song.
