If you purchased a super cheap toothbrush from the dollar store with plastic bristles that are super hard yes possibly I recommend a expensive 4-8$ toothbrush with visibly soft bristles on it and you’ll be just fine

Just go with the 8mm, I went with 6mm and I traded it in for an 8mm 6 months later ....I've never heard anyone say they went too big on a cuban link it's always "man I wish I would have gotten one size up" , they definitely look smaller in person than they do online too. The length is up to you 24" is perfect for a classic look , 22" is better if you're a skinnier guy ....just my 2 cents . You definitely won't regret getting a cuban link though no matter what !!
