Halloween PaPi so in general wearing it to the beach 🏖 is ok but now if your laying down in sand suntanning going in the water that’s the problem the salt water since your chain is am assuming not 24k will suffer from corrosion oxidization slowly but surely eating away at your finish as well the sand also swirling up against you chain and neck can cause scratches on your finish so long answer short will going to the beach one day mess your chain up probably not but if you go every weekend for sure the damage will start to show scratches scuffs etc. the high polish finish is what you want to save and not have any Erosion damage at all that could start to set in

I wouldn’t worry too much about ocean water. You ever seen sunken treasure? Ppl find gold jewelry in the ocean all the time. It’s unfazed. Gold doesn’t react to salt water. I’d worry more about chlorine, that’s a chemical that can mess with it.. but that’s over long term exposure. I don’t think jumping in the pool once or twice with it on will do anything. Just my opinion.

Just go with the 8mm, I went with 6mm and I traded it in for an 8mm 6 months later ....I've never heard anyone say they went too big on a cuban link it's always "man I wish I would have gotten one size up" , they definitely look smaller in person than they do online too. The length is up to you 24" is perfect for a classic look , 22" is better if you're a skinnier guy ....just my 2 cents . You definitely won't regret getting a cuban link though no matter what !!
