Hey! could you help?, I followed the process step by step but reflex frame limiters appears to not be injected, since it doest caps frames in this mode and also Reflex info is not shown in RTSS overlay, when I switch to async it does work.

Fast vsync is just a version of vsync that runs faster and removes some screen tear while still retaining low input delay. It still adds input delay regardless. For example: the best possible settings for a freesync premium 180hz monitor would be 178 rtss fps cap with 480 fps cap in game. Vsync completely disabled. With reflex on.

Question regarding an old video of yours about Gley massacre in TfD. Currently good reactors are compatible with purple weapons because they changed it to weapon class mount. Is the Blood Bloomer for sure better than Python in the current case of using a gold reactor with sub machine gun mounting?

😔Jumped to conclusions assuming Nvidia was up to their usual shenanigans with frame gen marketing but not knowing about Reflex 2 this actually looks like it will be sick 👀

The experience is objectively better with the 4090 Traditionally rendering than a 5070 running MFG and Reflex2 with equivalent FPS and Latency ( Because there's no artifacts either than DLSS upscaling ), and even if they were equivalent, it's still not an apples to apples comparison, and the 4090 using the same features would be a better experience.

Nvidia reflex 2 does not work with framegen currently and with how they're currently doing framegen it won't ever work, the technologies are incompatible.

Depending on software for your frames instead of raw horsepower introduces way too many failure points for my liking. Can it be hacked or manipulated, will it be able to be used with most games, is this something they can charge you for updates in the future. The list could go on and on. This push for ai just means that in the end you pay for a mediocre card that relies on software to do the heavy lifting. No thanks.

I don’t want to insult you, but you have no idea what you’re talking about. The 5070 will be more comparable to the 4070 ti s. The ai frame gen will not and cannot exceed the hardwares frame limitations. It may show 240 but it’ll still feel like 60fps. Numerous experts have confirmed this.

All this dry guessing, Benchmarks will drop within a few weeks with youtubers testing the cards, Everything will come to light and we will fully know. Until then its what he said vs what he said and what it could or could not be. Those days are about to be up and release is getting close

Important to note that there is no sign that reflex 2 is coming to games that support MFG. At the moment they seem to at least be prioritizing competitive games. This is probably because the inpainting might fall at lower frame rates. Also, the compute overhead to do frame warp at exponentially higher frame rates will be insane given the gpu is already calculating the extra frames and most likely super resolution. Can def see the potential tho, we’ll see what happens in the future

You wouldn't get the the 2nd real frame at same time. Frame Gen would increase your real-frame times. Reflex 2 doesn't reproject at every refresh (which is independent of the rendered frames) like they do in that demo.

Whyd you put fake frames in air quotes. At the end of the day, if the final product looks good thats all we care about. This whole blurry ghosting stuff needs to stop.

Atleast this time Nvidia didnt lock most of the features for their 5000 series because people criticized the 400 series. I think the problem is that what if in a few years games get so intensive in a short span of time that only the next gen cards can handle it and that with the help of their latest ai tech which they will lock it for those upcoming cards. Point is what if they make it like you will have to upgrade every 2 or 3 years even when you paid a high price for the current gpus. Also gaming companies will just forget optimizations and fully rely on these tech.

Unlike Nvidia, people are not comparing the "software" that Nvidia is exclusively supplying with the 5 series, they are simply comparing the cuda/hardware upgrades. That alone does not justify an upgrade from a 4 series to a 5. The new latency and frame generation software that you're talking about, will be available for older cards too (via AMD first).

So glad you made this video as i am super nerded as most people would call it i have a 13900k and a 3090ti and i just do not go and buy new specs because it is just not needed Imo and yes i might not have the lastest gear it does everything i need and for me i am waiting Untill King Pin comes out with his full custom part before i build a new computer and if you have not heard of him you should look up his custom computer he made called Roboclocker he is mad good at what he does.

Halp! I cannot seem to find a way to enable Nvidia Reflex within Rivatuner. Using a RTX 3090. I know the Rivatuner is working as it limits my framerates to whatever value i put in Rivatuner however Nvidia Reflex doesnt show within the apps settings while following your guide Thanks for any help!

I would cap fps With RTSS and not NCP . It gives better frametime pacing 100%. But I agree with this as I've been telling people this also and the dismiss because they think uncapped fps is better.. lol
